We operate in York and its surrounding environs. Currently we have the following subgroups: Health and Wellbeing, Hate Crime, Bisexual, Older People, Education and Young People and Trans. These groups aims to forward the charitable objects of the York LGBT Forum via, support groups, training and fostering a sentiment of equality in York.

The British Music Society of York puts on six Chamber Music Concerts each year in the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall at the University of York. Our purpose is to bring chamber music to as wide an audience as possible and to this end we offer annual subscription for students and young people at only £3.67 per concert and for adults at only £10.75 per concert.

The Trust seeks to promote schemes of lasting benefit to people in mining and former mining communities in the Yorkshire area within the objects of the CISWO charity and which may be determined from time to time by the CISWO charity.

We continue to develop sponsorship and support a range of projects through our members. Our projects are located in both the UK and overseas.These operate in the areas of: 1. The prevention and relief of poverty.2. Economic/community benefit.3. Religious activities supporting communities.4. General charitable purposes.

Holy Trinity Church is a Church of England parish church in York city centre.

Scouting activities, Scout band, camping activities and weekly meetings. Character development, developing leadership qualities and preparation for the jamboree.

Raising funds for Friends of St Mary's and supporting St Mary's CofE Primary School in Askham Richard.

Provision of chamber music in York in a short festival. It includes outreach work with young musicians, educational masterclasses and a competition for young musicians.

To encourage the conservation, restoration and maintenance of Georgian buildings and architecture; To prevent disfigurement to settings and other features of Georgian character; To promote interest and education in, and knowledge and learning of all aspects of Georgian architecture, arts, culture and society, all with special but not exclusive reference to the city of York and its neighbourhood.

Our organisation manages the New Earswick Nature Reserve ensuring it continues to be conserved, Protected and improved for the benefit of the public.

To promote the benefit of Foxwood and the neighbourhood by association together the said inhabitants and the local authorities voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation. To establish a Community Centre.

YSRA promotes the playing of squash and squash57 throughout Yorkshire by organising coaching, running competitions such as County Championships and providing information and advice to venues with squash courts on how to maximise their use

Sharing of worship, discussions and social activity.Grants made to children and adults attending national Unitarian activities. Debt and budgeting help at home

Objects are:- in providing benefits for the school of a kind not normally provided by the Local Education Authority; and promoting the education of pupils and former pupils by financial support towards fees or expenses.

We are an independent volunteer counselling service based in York City, providing professional short-term (usually 6 weeks) counselling and support to the local community from 16 years old onwards. Presenting issues may include anxiety, mild to moderate depression, bereavement, domestic and relationship issues, addiction, post-trauma effects and the long-term impact of early life events.
