Our Charity has three main aims. We primarily assist people in need, chiefly through the provision of donated household goods and new furniture and white goods at affordable prices. We also offer training and work experience placements and employment. We protect the environment by collecting items that would otherwise go to waste. We work with City of York Council and charities to furnish homes.

Restore (York) Ltd is a charity working to relieve homelessness and to provide support and mentoring for vulnerable people in the City of York.

To operate the business of the Yorkshire Museum of Farming Limited, the objects of which are to preserve for the benefit of the Nation, agricultural machinery, equipment, buildings, documents and livestock of educational and historical interest and to maintain and operate a museum for the purpose of exhibiting to the public such items of educational or historical interest.

York Carers Centre provides support to unpaid carers of all ages in York. Services include : support for young carers (aged 5 to 18); support for young adult carers (18-25); support for adults; carers emergency card; benefits and community care advice; drop in sessions; help filling in forms; signposting/referrals to other agencies; emotional support; events/activities; training for professionals

York Area Quaker Meeting is a charity established for the advancement of religion and other charitable purposes such asderive from or bear witness to the principles and practices of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).

- To preserve and conserve the area known as St Nicholas Fields for the benefit and education of the public.- To educate the residents of York in principles and benefits of environmental and conservation issues and sustainability including recycling and waste reduction- To provide facilities for residents with the aim of improving their conditions of life through social welfare and leisure

TO PROMOTE INCLUSION INDEPENDENCE AND CHOICE FOR DISABLED PEOPLE

We provide support and information to adult survivors of rape, sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse in York and North Yorkshire.

We seek to enable people with any disability to access the countryside. We have a countryside activities programme, a range of publications, and offer advice on improving countryside access for all.

The principal funding for the year was from property rental income

support for persons suffering from all forms of cancer, their carers, families and friends. of services aimed at supporting the best possible quality of life for people affected by cancer through practical, social and psychological assistance. Support to those bereaved by cancer. Co-op working with other orgs both vol and stat involved in the relief of suffering caused by cancer.

The Charity provides Buddha's teachings to the public, to teach people how to find peace of mind.

YCFC Foundation supports the local community by providing sport and physical activity; educational; social and healthy lifestyle opportunities, and ensuring that our contributions have a realistic opportunity of making a positive impact, informed by the premise that activities encourage engagement, reduce social isolation, improve physical and mental wellbeing, confidence and resilience.

To support over 6300 young people and 2200 adult volunteers in England's largest geographical county to learn vital skills for life through adventure and the great outdoors.

The Trust's priority is to assist charitable organisations within a 25 mile radius of York. Applications should be made in writing and should set out the purpose for which the funds would be used, total amount required and other sources of finance available.

The aim of York Blind & Partially Sighted Society (MySight York) is to advocate and provide services to enable people who are blind or partially sighted achieve independence and live well with sight loss. We provide an Equipment and Information Centre, a Befriending Service, an Eye Clinic service, activities, outreach to anyone struggling with sight loss in the York area.

The making of grants to Ministers, Retired Ministers and their Widows who are members of the United Reformed or Baptist churches and also students who are studying for ministries in these churches and attending certain specified colleges.
