The Hut York was set up to provide meaningful and purposeful activities for people with enduring mental health and/or learning disabilities. Currently there are over 200 members. At present we run session on arts, crafts, games, a men's lunch club and vocational, social and life-skills along with work experience. The activities do change and are tailored to individuals' health and interests.

Our Charity aims to provide (a) a place of worship for Orthodox Christians who are predominantly members of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Great Britain, (b) educational opportunities for the community we serve (of Greeks and Greek Cypriots who are first, second, or even sometimes third generation immigrants), (c) social, welfare and cultural activities, and (d) an information centre.

A wide range of educational activities are provided for the children working in the spirit of the learning and development requirements outlined in EYFS 2021 alongside the principles of playwork.

Peasholme Charity addresses poverty and social exclusion for vulnerable people in and around the city of York who are experiencing or heading towards 'crisis ' (lacking shelter, security or an ability to sustain oneself). We work to achieve our aims by offering specialist one-to-one support services which provide advice, guidance and signposting with respect to housing, benefits, finance and debt.

We are a parish church providing a regular weekly programme of services and other supporting community, social and educational activities.

Accessible Arts & Media runs a range of inclusive creative learning and wellbeing projects for groups including disabled adults and young people, older people with dementia and people with enduring mental health problems. Our projects help people develop the skills and confidence to connect with their local community and have more of a say in the things that matter to them.

To provide Almshouses for persons of limited financial means aged between 55 and 70 upon initial occupation. Residents must be of good character and members of the Church of England

Promoting the whole mission of the Church. The Parish Hall are available for use by the community. The church members help in local schools, visit those who have been bereaved or are ill.

The primary object of all PCCs is the promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England. The PCC (Powers) Measure 1956 states that the PCC 'is to co-operate with the Minister in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical'.

Snappy offer Play , Recreational and pre vocational opportunities to Children and Young people with wide ranging disabilities .

Advocacy Alliance provides free, independent advocacy support to individuals on a one to one basis.The organisation recruits trains and supports members of the community to become volunteer advocates.Advocacy Alliance provides safeguarding training to vulnerable people

The object is to advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public in accordance with the doctrines of the Romanian Orthodox Church.

To maintain and manage the Community Centre, to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Tang Hall, in a common effort to advance education and wellbeing. Provides facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreational and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Care for the local community, services in care homes for the elderly. Food hampers for the needy/lonely. Children's holiday clubs and festive parties. Regular weekly services for all ages including a monthly youth social event, ladies group and mens group.

Providing essential equipment and improving services for children's and neonatal wards that cannot be funded from any other source.

Religious activities

North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre provides a community-based service to help families whose lives are affected by illness or disability. Music Therapy involves active music making as a means of improving physical, psychological and emotional functioning. The charity also provides information, further education, presentations/workshops and a programme of cultural events.

The charity's activities are to advance the Christian religion and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities with the object of improving their conditions of life in the Haxby & Wigginton area of North Yorkshire by operating a Christian cafe.

Provision of religious instruction, marriage support, family support, worship services

The objectives of the trust are the advancement of education, historical and medical research.

The charity aims to educate the public and members of The Regiments in the history and military accomplishments of The Regiments and encourage recruitment by public exhibition of the Collection and to add to, conserve, restore, repair, reconstruct and preserve objects in the Collection. And to promote military efficiency.

Popsoc runs a breakfast club, after school club & holiday club in Poppleton for children aged 4-13.

Makes grant to individuals. The beneficiaries are communicants of the Church of England resident in the Diocese of York, Liverpool and Manchester.
