The activities of the Charitable Trust are to make grants and donations to individuals, groups, community associations, local or national charities in Denbigh, St Asaph, Llandudno, Ruthin, Tattenhall, Menai Bridge and in the surrounding areas of North Wales and Cheshire. Particular emphasis is made on local communities and grassroots benefit.

Unused sports field & dilapidated pavilion. Recent addition of off road parking affords opportunities for riverside picnics & recreation. [Fishing requires Rod licence and Dolwyddelan Fishing Association permit (Post Office - Dolwyddelan)]. Sports field is used for sheep grazing. Dogs must be under control at all times. Parental control of Children at riverside essential! No overnight parking.

The Trust supports the mental & physical wellbeing of community members, vocational and recreational users of the valleys natural environment. Encouraging wildlife education and conservation projects with fellow charitable local partners, social events raising funds for fellow charities and underpinning community growth and cohesion at every step. Cherem is a remote village in the Nepal Himalaya. Da Gombu Sherpa was born here and co founded the project that helps develop education, health and well being in the village. Gombu was a great mountaineer. He died of Cancer in Dec 2011. The Leadership of Cherem village lies now with the Cherem Youth Society that Gombu helped to form before his passing established in kathmandu 2068 B.S. 2011.

PRESERVATION AND INTERPRETATION OF THE MINING INDUSTRY OF NORTH WALES

Talks, visits and discussion groups.

To give disabled people (wheelchair users, visually impaired etc.) chance to get out and enjoy the countryside. To offer multi-media dance, recreation and wildlife projects.

TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THOSE LIVING IN OR WORKING IN OR RESORTING IN THE SAID AREAS.

Raising awareness and promoting bat conservation

The aim of the charity is to make provision for the care, maintenance and treatment of maternity cases within the locality of Conwy River and Conwy Valley.

Provides a safe supervised opportunity for people with physical and mental disabilities to horseride. it is available for people of all ages and most disabilities with suitably qualified staff and trained volunteers in attendance.

The charity promotes widespread perfomances of the art form of jazz and organizes educational events which aim to increase public appreciation of the art form and to enable musicians to develop their full potential. In addition, it provides an advice service for bodies wishing to present jazz events and for the general public.

TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE NEEDY IN THE PARISH OF CERRIGYDRUDION. tO ASSIST WITH TRAVELLING TO HOSPITAL.

fundraising to support the work of the H.M.Stanley eye unit St.Asaph. includes coffee mornings ,raffles, bike rides. The charity has recently donated -ú1500 towards an item of specialist equipment matched by another local charity to provide full purchase price

Grants for charitable purposes to help mainly the aged and young children in the Community council of Llansannan ( Bylchau ward)

Provision of high quality arts activities to Mid and North Wales.

Charitable purposes

We raise funds to support cancer patients in North Wales. The charity and shop is run entirely by volunteers. Due to COVID-19 our charity shop is indefinitely closed as of March 2020.

The aim of the charity is to distribute money or gifts in kind amongst the aged poor persons resident in the parishes of Trefriw and Llanrhychwyd.

To provide welfare, support and friendship to both serving and retired members of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces and their dependents in our local areaTo promote the efficiency of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces by any charitable means including but not limited to fostering espirit de corp and maintaining contact between past and present members. To remember fallen comrades.

Religious activities, including social and pastoral work, assistance to elderly people and persons suffering from disability or poverty.

TO PROMOTE CLOSE CO-OPERATION & COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PARENTS/CARERS, TEACHERS & THE SCHOOL COUNCIL. TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHICH SUPPORT & ADVANCE THE WELFARE & EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS ATTENDING THE SCHOOL. TO BE SUPPORTIVE OF THE SCHOOL, ITS VISION & ETHOS AT ALL TIMES.
