We are part of Girlguiding UK which is the largest voluntary orgainsation for girls and young women in the UK. We're part of a worldwide organisation with over ten million members in 145 countries. Here in Cornwall we follow the Girlguiding scheme which provides a balanced programme of activities enabling girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world.

The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. and B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

COMMUNITY CHAPLAINCY WORKS WITH PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS AND OF NONE. IT SEEKS TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL, EMPOWERING AND AFFIRMING SUPPORT FOR PRISONERS AND EX-PRISONERS BOTH PRIOR TO DISCHARGE AND ON RELEASE, IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY SUCCESSFULLY RE-INTEGRATE INTO THE COMMUNITY, REALISE THEIR POTENTIAL AND NOT RETURN TO PRISON.

Sir Robert Gefferys Preschool is set on a school site in landrake in cornwall it supports children from the age of 18 months upto school age and supplies a wraparound service for children from the age of 18 monthsup until they go into primary school. The charity supports Deaf and hard of hearing people in Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, and parts of Devon.We provide BSL interpreters, Deaf communication support, and expert information, advice and guidance on d/Deaf-related issues. Our services include Deaf Awareness training and advocacy in health, mental health and social care.

This charity was formed to take over the existing charity Friends and Families of Special Children which is an unincorporated oranisation with charity no 1114692. This duly happened with effect from 1/6/2012.

DCFA redistributes donated surplus food to families and individuals experiencing food poverty in Devon and Cornwall, thereby both saving perfectly edible food from going to landfill and feeding people who are in most of need of the food. All of the surplus food which is donated to DCFA is sourced from supermarkets, other branded food producers, farmers and growers.

We aim to reduce the rate of suicide in young women in Cornwall aged 18-25, by highlighting the warning signs and with early intervention through our free support groups, building a support network, promoting wellness, and referrals to appropriate therapies/professional services.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Nanstallon and the local community without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:a) meetings, lectures and classes, andb) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

We re a Ofsted registered Pre-school, situated in the grounds of Treleigh C P School in Redruth .We offer a child friendly learning environment for children from age 2 to 5 years. The object of the Menadue Management Trust (MMT) is to promote the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual welfare of children, young people and adults and to advance their education, within a Christian environment, by developing, maintaining and managing Menadue Farm as a residential educational activity centre.
