THE OBJECTS OF THE LEAGUE SHALL BE TO ASSIST PATIENTS AND FORMER PATIENTS OF STRATTON HOSPITAL AND OTHER PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY, WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED, INFIRM OR IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE AND GENERALLY TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE SAID HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE SERVICES IN THE AREA SERVED BY THE HOSPITAL.

Preschool.

We exist to enhance the development and education of primarily pre-school children. Our qualified staff provide appropriate play facilities and activities which offer opportunities for all children. Parental involvement is welcomed to understand and provide support for the needs of their children.

Principally the provision of food to those in need locally

Hall & meeting rooms for hire for meetings, training (equipment available), functions (licensed bar on premises), workshops and bazaars. The centre is wheelchair friendly with loop systems in the rooms and has a toilet for the disabled, nappy changing facilities and parking.

Childcare and education

Uplift Devon seeks to improve the lives and life chances of any child under the age of five in the south-west by providing professional support and spaces for families to meet, learn and make connections. Parent and child sessions are designed to enable parents to support their young children, becoming active participants in their children's learning.

This Charity was dormant up until 31st July 2014. From that date it began to take over the activities of The Charles Causley Trust (charity number 1102459). Its objects are the advancement of education in literature and poetry, particularly in relation to the works of Charles Causley, and the maintenance of Cyprus Well. Grants are made to potential writers and poets from Cornwall and Devon.

The provision of and maintenance of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of St Endellion

Tregadillett Pre-School operates from Tregadillett Community Centre situated next door to Tregadillett Primary School. We offer a local village pre-school, between the hours of 9-3, with links to the local school.At Tregadillett Pre-School we believe the best way to learn is through play, especially through outdoor education.

The Gwinear Gwithian Sustainable Community Fund (GGSCF) is a charity which offers funding for local projects which improve the sustainability of the community. The funds are provided by the two local solar farm developments, there are two rounds of funding each year that community groups can apply for. Teaching Gymnastics to Children primarily in the Camborne/Redruth area of Cornwall, but some children are from outside that area.

STAK provides a safe and welcoming community cafe/kitchen for the vulnerable, needy and homeless in the community. Our open door policy gives people the opportunity to be warm and dry, to have a hot nutritious affordable meal and to seek support and advice on a range of issues. In particular we offer training to improve employability skills and we are an accredited debt advice centre.

Little Beebles Pre-school offers sessional care for 2-5 year olds with the aim of preparing them for the transition into school.Offers community involvement in the activities of the Pre School.

Falmouth and Penryn Welcome Refugee Families was established to deliver the Government's Community Sponsorship scheme which aims to resettle refugee families displaced by the Syrian war. We provide support and resources to enable refugee families to resettle in the Falmouth and Penryn area, including but not limited to language teaching, befriending and social support.

THE CORNWALL FILM FESTIVAL IS AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL DEDICATED TO THE SUPPORT OF A SUSTAINABLE MEDIA INDUSTRY IN CORNWALL. THE PRINCIPLE OBJECT IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF CINEMATOGRAPHY, FILMMAKING AND VIDEO AND OTHER FORMS OF MOVING IMAGES INCLUDING FILMS IN THE CORNISH LANGUAGE.

Noahs Place supports adults with learning disabilities within a safe secure and nurturing environment, providing them with the opportunity to develop horticultural skills, agricultural, maintenance and woodworking skills whilst joining in with others in a variety of different activities. This we feel is a way of overcoming many of the disadvantages which people with learning disabilities face.
