The Planetary Lab is the working name of Exeter Science Centre as of 2026. We are working to create a network of STEAMM discovery centres in the South West, and in parallel we develop and deliver information media plus hands-on educational exhibitions and events for the public, particularly related to global issues (STEAMM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Medicine).

To educate the public by its promotion, support, assistance, and improvements of the Burton Art Gallery and Museum, Bideford, Devon, through the activity of a group of Friends. The Friends activity includes short term exhibitions, lectures on artistic subjects, schools' education and assisting with purchases for the permanent exhibition.

To provide and assist ex and serving armed forces personal and their dependants and the local community with help by providing equipment and financial help.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall and recreation ground.Funds are raised by Hall Hire Charges,Hiring the field for sporting purposes and additional sums raised via seasonal/holiday parking.

Surf Life Saving organises training and coaching for the volunteers in of the Surf Life Saving Clubs in Cornwall. Organises competitions and events based on life saving activities.Training and equipping of volunteers for Cornwall Flood Rescue Team.Training and assisting the Clubs in providing a voluntary Beach Lifeguard Patrol.

RIDING AND DRIVING FOR THE DISABLED - CHIVERTON GROUP PROVIDE DISABLED PEOPLE OF ALL AGES WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO RIDE OR DRIVE TO BENEFIT THEIR HEALTH AND WELL BEING.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE PRESERVATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE HISTORIC, DOMESTIC AND INDUSTRIAL BUILDING SITES AND ARTIFACTS SITUATED IN THE TREGARGUS VALLEY, CORNWALL

To provide a venue for recreational, educational, social and artistic activities for the Parish of Chacewater and the wider area

Charity provides personal assistance, care and encouragement, teaching, explaining. Charity also provides encouragement and financial aid to organisations and individuals whose objects and standards are inkeeping with ours.

This is a village hall for the whole community for Landrake and surrounding areas. The activities are as follows- Badminton, Short mat bowls, Dog Classes, Bingo, Childrens Parties, Tabletop sales etc. The hall is hired out to the community.

The Two Bays Trust : delivering coastal conservation and mental health and wellbeing support on the stunning North Cornwall coast.

Provides exhibition opportunities to young people and adults within the fine and applied arts and educational opportunites such as workshops and lectures

The Fraddon Millennium Green Trust oversees the running of the Fraddon Millennium Green, an open space used by the local community. The area includes play equipment.

We provide support and services for dyslexic children & adults of all ages, their parents/families, educators, employers & the wider community. We can be contacted via our Helpline & Website. We also support a Dyslexia Friendly Schools Quality Mark. Our focus is raising awareness of Dyslexia & our vision is a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people to reach their full potential.

To provide, maintain and develop the facilities of a village hall and community centre for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Stithians in the County of Cornwall for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the local community. Fundraising in support of these aims.

Religious Activities

Exeter Visual Art provide affordable workspace and facilities to rent for artists in Exeter and the South West region. eva studios have 39 studio spaces & communal facilities in a supportive, artist-led environment that exists to promote the social, economic and cultural contribution of visual art for the public benefit.

Making sailing and powerboating accessible to all. Providing sailing and powerboat sessions for people with disabilities in the Fal Estuary, Mylor, near Falmouth, Cornwall.

Provision of facilities for regular Christian worship and teaching including facilities for children and young people. The church is run by its members and seeks to add value to the local community together with supporting missionaries.

The Lions Club of Looe organises numerous public fundraising activities (such as car boot sales and lotteries), public participation activities (such as Carnival Week, Easter egg hunt and the arrival of Father Christmas) at which funds are also raised and also activities that are purely organised for the benefit and enjoyment of others (such as seniors Chritmas parties).

CHILDREN ARE ENCOURAGED TO ENGAGE IN ALL SCOUTING ACTIVITIES TO LEARN AND HAVE FUN
