The objective of the Charity is to raise funds the income of which will be available to repair and maintain St Germoe Church, the Churchyard, Cemetery and Church Hall and to expedite further the religious and charitable work of the Church of England in the parish of Germoe to ensure that the Church remains open as a place of worship and community facility for the benefit of the public.

We are a friendship club hosting weekly socials and lunch, meeting every Tuesday in Bodmin. We also arrange trips, events, entertainment, regular Bingo and guest speakers.

The object of the group is to promote the objects of the Riding for the Disabled Association . Operating from Lakefield Equestrian Center we provide disabled people with the opportunity to ride to benefit their health and well being.

We are a small local Charity running a Charity Shop to raise funds to support the elderly in St Just and Pendeen. We were closed for some months due to the Covid lockdowns and are now open again on reduced hours. The regular monthly free lunches had to be suspended during the pandemic but hope to resume again in 2022. Our buildings are used by local groups for a small fee.

Our village hall is warm and comfortable with a popular social club, opening at weekends and bank holidays raising vital funds. The hall hosts a weekly coffee morning, plus classes such as woodcrafters, pilates and Zumba. A bi-weekly baby and toddlers group. A book exchange venture is also proving popular plus a local Chiropody clinic.

Almshouse consisting of six 1-bedroom self-contained flats for single person occupancy. For men and women over the age of 55 with a local connection.

Surf life saving club providing surf lifesaving training for members of the local community.

The Marlborough Mariners is a families and carers forum working closely with the headteacher and staff of Marlborough School, Falmouth, to run events and activities. Whilst many of our activities are aimed at fundraising, just as important to us is building the school community. We use funds raised to support curriculum enhancement (e.g. trips, external visitors to school) and one-off projects.

To relieve the suffering and distress of Bull Terriers in UK rescues which are in need by reason of sickness, maltreatment or poor circumstances.

To give support to anyone affected by cancer (patients or carer) through the provision of short, residential breaks which include counselling, support and advice and which are free of charge to all-comers. Under exceptional circumstances, support may be provided on a one-to-one basis and/or online.

Provide rowing to all ages and abilities for people living on the Roseland area, and further afield.

PROVISSION OF ASSISTANCE FOR ARMED FORCES AND VETERANS PERSONELL (WESTERN AREA)

Our aim is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music by the presentation of public concerts and performances and by such other ways as the association through its committee shall determine from time to time. We aim to promote the public understanding and engagement with science through performing at Science Festivals.

The promotion of comminity participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for the playing of flat green and short mat bowling for the inhabitants of callington and district.

Lions Club of Truro provides financial and service support to individuals and other charitable organisations in the Truro area. The Club donates to Lions International to help with emergency and disaster appeals. Funds are acquired through regular book sales, annual Crystal golf competition.
