The advancement of the Christian Faith in accordance with our Statement of Faith mainly within Gorran Haven and the surrounding neighbourhood. Our work includes prevention and relief of need, hardship and sickness, the advancement of education through our youth work and weekly services and the provision of community facilities supporting our local foodbank, other local needs and missionary work.

Mutual Aid Group

It provides community transport services in the Tavistock, West Devon and East Cornwall areas through the operation of the Tavistock Country Bus.

The Invictus Trust raises awareness of teenage mental health and has delivered a website and films featuring young people with mental health issues. We are also campaigning for an Adolescent Mental Health Unit in Cornwall.

Working to promote peace and rapprochement and to reduce and resolve conflict. The Next Century Foundation is a think and do tank and promotes the four freedoms: Freedom from fear, freedom from want, freedom of expression and freedom of religion. The Next Century Foundation also endeavours to promote a more inclusive world.

Scouting Activities

To Advance the Christian Faith within Cornwall, UK or World as the church council see's fit.To relieve Sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind including counselling and support in Cornwall, UK or the World as the church council see's fit.To advance education in such ways and in such parts of UK/World

Parish hall used by bowls, badminton, boogie bounce, keep fit and bridge clubs on regular basis. Also used for weddings, concerts, parties and presentations.

To advance health or save lives by providing a volunteer motorcycle and car transport service and ancillary to transport provided by the statutory authorities. For the transfer of blood, blood products and breast milk for premature or very ill babies, people and other medical resources between donors, hospitals and medical facilities.

We are a community hall used by local organisations for events and to raise funds for their activities, for private functions, for a film club and for various training, fitnessand wellbeing groups. The Pantomime Society also hosts its annual pantomime and shows at the hall . Currently, the hall provides an outreach Post Office, following the closure of the main Post Office in the village

The aims and objectives of the Tresillian Village Hall committee is to provide facilities for recreation and leisure, and to maintain the village hall for the residents of Tresillian and those who live in the surrounding area.

1st Newquay Scout Group, Cornwall, UK, provides a challenging programme of everyday adventure to the young people of Newquay and the surrounding area.Typical activities include Hiking, Camping, Crafts, Environment, Outdoors, Canoeing, Swimming, Wide games, Climbing, Hiking and much more.

Enhancement of village amenities in the St. Agnes Ward of the Parish of St. Agnes.Maintenance of a number of sites on behalf of the Parish & District Councils.Acts as a pressure group on contentious local issues.

This is a Christian church providing a place to worship for the community, with provision for outreach, giving, including to promote Christian work in the local community and overseas, as well as some disaster relief and support for local food bank.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. and B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

Community building available for hire

Tavistock Scrapstore provides low-cost scrap materials collected from business as a creative resource and inspires individual and group creativity in the community.

Dobwalls Memorial hall is run by a small group of trustees for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Dobwalls & Trewidland along with the surrounding area.

TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL SICKNESS OF PERSONS RESIDENT OR TEMPORARILY RESIDENT IN CORNWALL SUFFERING FROM MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES (INCLUDING BY REASON OF ANXIETY OR LOW SELF ESTEEM OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS) BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT (SUCH AS PROVISION OF WORKSHOPS, RETREATS AND CREATIVE ARTS ACTIVITIES) FOR SUCH PURPOSES

We provide a building/facilities for people to hire. The hiring fees provide the finance for the upkeep of the hall.

To create and develop the conditions which will enable people with Down's syndrome to attain their full potential and to undertake any other charitable activities in connection with Down's syndrome in the Cornwall area.

The provision of good quality, modern reusable furniture and household effects, at affordable prices, to those people in Mid/West Cornwall who are on benefits and low incomes.

The Hall's varied facilities are well used by the local community. Activities include a successful over 60s luncheon club, yoga and keep fit classes, U3A groups, wood turners group, pantomime, badminton and, Old Cornwall Society. The National Blood Transfusion Service and Cornwall Council use the Hall. Private functions are welcomed.
