Truro Cathedral is first and foremost a church, the seat of the Bishop of Truro and a focus for the mission, life and work of the Church of England in Cornwall. Daily life includes worship, prayer, learning and music. We take care of the historic cathedral building, and try to influence the world for the better, welcoming everyone and walking alongside the diverse communities of the southwest.

The charity provides veterinary services for members of the public

The CIO will aim to support the religious and other charitable works performed by members of the Congregation. These works will fall into the following four areas: Healthcare, Education, Social and Pastoral Care and Overseas (including USA and Africa).

Children's Sailing Trust creates inclusive, accessible and affordable watersports opportunities by removing financial and disability barriers to participation. We use our public recreational, learning and accommodation facilities to develop physical and mental health and wellbeing through sailing, watersports and outdoor activities for all ages and abilities both locally and nationally.

We are a user-Led organisation. Our mission is "To enable and empower disabled people and carers to have independence, choice and control in their lives". We work through consultation, representation and service provision to fulfil our mission.

Provide groundwater expertise and services to other organisations developing and managing groundwater resources for the benefit of those living in poverty or who lack access to a safe and affordable water.Support and build the capacity of groundwater professionals

Voluntary Adoption Agency placing children from all over the UK with families in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset.

To advance the education and welfare of children living in Camborne and surrounding area, from birth to 11, through the provision of safe & stimulating childcare, play & recreational facilities, and to provide education & training opportunities for parents, carers & other members of the community.

International Theatre Educator

YMCA Cornwall seeks to serve the community in Cornwall with an emphasis on the young, by providing them with a stimulating and supportive environment, enabling them to enrich their lives and the lives of others.Activities include supported accommodation in Penzance and surrounding areas to enable and empower people of all ages and in particular young people, to flourish through care and support.

(1) The relief of poverty and distress among disabled persons in particular by providing or assisting in the provision of mobility aids.(2) The provision to such persons of equipment for the purpose of increasing their mobility and the provision of training in the use of such equipment.

Refurnish collects unwanted reusable household goods throughout Devon, Plymouth & Torbay to reduce the amount of goods going to waste & help alleviate poverty by providing them at low cost to local people. Electrical goods are professionally tested/repaired. We create employment, training and volunteering opportunities particularly for people who are long term unemployed and/or have support needs.

Abbeyfield Tamar Extra Care Society provides residential care for the elderly and infirm persons.

The education and formation of Religious Sisters, by care and pastoral work in Roman Catholic parishes in Torquay, and Falmouth and by its other charitable works, as well as by the provision of teaching and pastoral care.

Girlguiding South West England provides a range of activities and opportunities for girls and young women aged from 5 years to adult in Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Isle of Wight, Jersey and Guernsey.

We are an outdoor education centre supporting the Cornish community since 1989. Using activity programmes, we focus on children who are not in education, employment or training or are at risk of disengagement. We help them to gain the confidence and skills needed to build a brighter future. We also offer programmes for people with disabilities and other individuals with additional support needs.

Acquisition and maintenance of land and buildings of significance to Cornwall's Heritage and presentation of such sites to to the public. Provision of grants to support preservation of buildings artefacts and other items or contributions of significance to Cornwall's Heritage. Education of of the public and in particular education of young people about Cornwall's Heritage.

Prevention of cruelty to animals and the promotion of kindness through rehoming unwanted and abused animals.

To support the moral component of HM Armed Forces, particularly through the operation of amenity centres in or near military bases in the UK and overseas. To support veteran Armed Forces personnel and their dependants, usually through sheltered housing. To support the CofE in the delivery of its spiritual and charitable objectives across Defence.

The Clare Milne Trust supports disability projects in or close to Devon and Cornwall. The Trust prefers to help smaller effective charities with good volunteer suppport. The Trust does not support individuals with a disability directly.

Provision of daily childcare for children aged 3 months to 14 years and provision of facilities for various local community groups

The Creation Works is a sustainable, accessible, residential rehearsal & development centre in Par, Cornwall. Made available for community and professional artists to make theatre, dance & outdoor performance in ideal conditions. Whilst here delivering activities & opportunities to the benefit of Par bay and Cornwall more widely. The CIO also delivers off-site work to the benefit of the community.
