Mawgan Porth Village Hall lies at the centre of this small community and is currently used for a variety of activities by the village and surrounding area, being situated midway between the towns of Newquay and Padstow. It provides an attractive and inviting venue for a variety of functions.

The encouragement and instruction in the sport of rowing in particular Cornish Pilot Gigs.

Riverside United Church provides Weddings, Funerals and Baptisms. It provides a worship service on Sunday mornings. Bible Study and Prayer meetings throughout the year. Pastoral work visiting the sick and bereaved.

Supports current Bishop of Plymouth by making annual grant for his use.

To maintain an urban woodland amenity within the town for the benefit of the community.

The young generation of Falmouth puts on one major musical a year. Open for all 10-20 year olds. Training starts in January, auditions in February performance in August.

General Charitable purposes

The charity continues to support musical organisations and the arts in England, especially performances by young artists, education and welfare organisations in the UK and abroad, and a small number of other charitable organisations.

To raise funds for equipment, projects and trips for school to enhance the education and wellbeing of the pupils. To organise social events for the enjoyment of the pupils, their families and the wider community. To develop effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school including the local village and businesses.

To further the advancement of Christianity, the relief of poverty and the advancement of education for the benefit of the public, in particular but not exclusively in Asia, Africa and the United Kingdom.

RECEIVES DONATIONS FROM MASONIC ORGANISATIONS AND MAKES DONATIONS TO NON-MASONIC CHARITIES AND ORGANISATIONS.

We are responsible for maintaining amenity area for use by the general public.

To preserve the Priory Church of St Germanus by providing facilities adequate to the needs of the 21st century - eg toilets, disabled access, community use along with visitor and education facilities for the advancement of learning within this fine architectural and historic setting. To build community through the arts and communal events and continue to be a place of worship.

Access Theatre is a company for adults with learning disabilities and a range of physical and sensory impairments. We meet weekly at Launceston Town Hall for drama and dance activities and regularly produce high-quality public performances . The members are supported by volunteers. We employ an experienced professional dance/theatre practitioner. New members are always welcome.

The relief of cancer sufferers in the South West of England by the provision of funding for equipment and facilities, and also by any other means that the trustees may from time to time think fit.

The village hall is a Grade II listed building, a hub for sports ,leisure and welfare activities. A snooker club , a sports therapist and a weekly PO outreach service are hosted by the hall. Regular activities such as Yoga, KungFu for children, as well as weekly coffee mornings in support of social cohesion are held alongside other events i.e. receptions, annual pantomimes and fund raising.

We work to support refugees and those working with refugees arriving or settling in Cornwall; to relieve financial hardship among asylum seekers and refugees in Cornwall; to educate the public concerning refugees and asylum seekers and to develop mutual integration between communities locally. We take basic resources to refugees in Calais and Dunkerque, and work with local support groups there.

To assist financially or otherwise, those personnel, or former, or retired personnel and theiri mmediate dependants, who by virtue of illness or premature retirement, or any other reason are in need.

LARF CONTINUES TO RECEIVE COLLECTIONS & DONATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC, LOCAL BUSINESSES & LOCAL SCHOOLS WITH ANNUAL EVENTS NOW IN PLACE. LARF SELLS MERCHADISE ONLINE & IN LOCAL SHOPS WHICH BRINGS AWARNESS FOR THE CHARITY.WE SUPPORT RCHT TRELISKE BY FUNDING EXTRA NURSING HOURS FOR TEENAGERS & YOUNG ADULTS GOING THROUGH CANCER TREATMENT IN CORNWALL.

We are a Community venue run by a committee of trustees. We run a monthly craft and produce market and other events. Local groups regularly hire the Centre including Well-Being and Memory Cafe, Guides, Brownies, Toddler Group, Cornish Wrestling, Yoga, Dance and Exercise Classes and Choir. The venue is also used for local children's and adults' parties, wedding receptions and funeral wakes.
