We are a Community venue run by a committee of trustees. We run a monthly craft and produce market and other events. Local groups regularly hire the Centre including Well-Being and Memory Cafe, Guides, Brownies, Toddler Group, Cornish Wrestling, Yoga, Dance and Exercise Classes and Choir. The venue is also used for local children's and adults' parties, wedding receptions and funeral wakes.

The charity continues to support musical organisations and the arts in England, especially performances by young artists, education and welfare organisations in the UK and abroad, and a small number of other charitable organisations.

THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED TO DEVELOP AND EQUIP THE DUKE OF CORNWALL RHEUMATOLOGY DEPARTMENT, ROYAL CORNWALL HOSPITAL AND TO SUPPORT RESEARCH INTO RHEUMATOLOGICAL DISORDERS AND RELIEF IN OTHER WAYS OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM SUCH DISORDERS.

This charity activity is the Women's Institute whose purposes are renowned. Bude WI is an active organisation giving interests and fellowship to all those who belong.

Surf Life Saving

To promote all genre of literature by the establishment and maintenance of an annual literary event, the Penzance Literary Festival for 4 days in July every year, and a number of LitFest Extra events during the year.To work with local youth and schools to advance education, appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of all forms of literature.

THE BURDEN TRUST PROVIDES DONATIONS TO ORGANISATIONS IN ST. GENNYS TYPICALLY LOCAL CHURCHYARDS, THE SURF CLUB AND BEACH-CLEANING.

Income is received from annual subscriptions, investment income and fund raising. Legacies are irregularly received. Grants are awarded to the fabric of Truro Cathedral, its musical foundation, flower guild and other projects as agreed at annual general meeting.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. and B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

The objects of the Choir are to educate the public in the arts and sciences, particularly the art and science of music and male voice singing.

We are still applying for funding and awaiting the opportunity to create our first project. This is planned to go ahead at the end of August, into September.

Manages village hall for whole communities in the parish of Landulph and surrounding parishes

Setting up a website for the charity and a blog, disseminating the weekly newsletter of the Franciscans of the Immaculate at Lanherne and other information about the Faith. The website is also a fundraising appeal for the charity.Investigating the possibility of holding fundraising appeals in parishes;Investigating the possibility of heritage lottery funding and other grants for the Charity;

The charity's main activity is to be a classical music society, promoting and organising a series of chamber music concerts each year. In addition, the charity encourages visiting professional musicians to work with young local musicians. Other events promoted include art exhibitions, literary evenings, one-off concerts & opera visits.

Provision of village hall for the use of the general public of the parish of St. Neot.

The charity aims to help provide services for the sick and infirm within the local community.The charity has two vehicles modified to carry wheelchair passengers. It provides transport for those people with mobility problems, in particular, the elderly and disabled.

The Trust continues in being active in Christian agencies working in the developing world, being engaged in work as widely varied as transport, emergency relief aid, education and the support of expatriate staff involved in long term mission and development

Performance and promotion of male voice choral music through concerts in Wales, the rest of Britain and Europe. Exchange visits with other male voice choirs. Assisting voluntary and charitable causes to raise funds for special projects.
