THE VENUE IS OPEN TO ALL SOCIETIES AND PEOPLE IRRESPECTIVE OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS. SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL, SPORTING AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES ARE ACTIVELY PROMOTED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Illogan School PTA is a group of parents, carers & school staff who work together to raise money to buy 'extras' for the children at Illogan Primary. We organise a variety of fundraising events for the children to enjoy and to raise additional funds for the benefit of the children. To provide, maintain and operate a parish hall for the use of inhabitants of Week St Mary and surrounding area including use of property for meetings, lectures,classes, groups, celebrations, or other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants.

The purpose of the hall is to provide a safe community space for the benefit of the residents of Mullion, without distinction of gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, race, political & religious or other opinions. The building provides a place for meetings, classes, lectures,other forms of recreation enabling social enjoyment & raising funds for upkeep of the hall.

The Trust continues in being active in Christian agencies working in the developing world, being engaged in work as widely varied as transport, emergency relief aid, education and the support of expatriate staff involved in long term mission and development

Provides facilities and organises activities to assist social cohesion in the area of benefit, and provides funding for improvements to the Millennium House community centre. Seeks to act as an umbrella body for other community groups in the area with similar aims.

This charity activity is the Women's Institute whose purposes are renowned. Bude WI is an active organisation giving interests and fellowship to all those who belong.

To advance education in art and culture in particular, but not exclusively, in the St Just in Penwith area.To promote arts for the benefit of the public generally, and in particular for the inhabitants of St Just in Penwith, by promoting an annual festival of arts and music.

To promote all genre of literature by the establishment and maintenance of an annual literary event, the Penzance Literary Festival for 4 days in July every year, and a number of LitFest Extra events during the year.To work with local youth and schools to advance education, appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of all forms of literature.

Helping young people towards responsible adulthood, our headquarters in the centre of PZ & close to the harbour provide admin & training rooms, drill hall & messroom plus boatshed. Based on the customs of the Royal Navy, our cadets undertake various academic & practical courses including computers. The cadets also enjoy boating, camping, adventure & sporting outings plus inter unit competitions.

FUNDRAISING

Spring Intensive Care charity exists to improve the care of critically ill patients and their relatives treated in the general and neurosurgical intensive care units in Plymouth (Penrose and Pencarrow ward). Income comes from donations and fundraising activities and is used to purchase equipment, support staff education and welfare and to promote research.

THE BURDEN TRUST PROVIDES DONATIONS TO ORGANISATIONS IN ST. GENNYS TYPICALLY LOCAL CHURCHYARDS, THE SURF CLUB AND BEACH-CLEANING.

6TH FALMOUTH SEA SCOUTS ARE A ROYAL NAVY AFFILIATED SCOUT GROUP FOCUSING ON SEAMANSHIP AND SAILING THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER MONTHS AND LAND BASED SCOUTING IN THE WINTER. COMPRISING CUBS, SCOUTS AND EXPLORERS ALL OF WHOM DEVELOP PERSONAL SKILLS THROUGH TEAM WORK AND EXPERIENCE THROUGH THE CHALLENGES DEVELOPED BY WATER AND LAND BASED ACTIVITIES.

We provide a venue for local groups to meet and hold activities. There is a hall with a stage, toilets, a small kitchen and some parking. We have disabled access and foster equal opportunities. A variety of events is organised to raise funds for maintaining and improving the building. North Hill is approximately 6 miles from Launceston and the A30.

SOWRA aims to advance the standards and raise awareness of regional anaesthesia and pain management amongst the general public and medical profession. SOWRA provides a forum for networking for health professionals, provides training and educational activities and supports clinical and basic science research in the field of regional anaesthesia and pain management through research grants.
