The objective of the Trust is the promotion of education and research in (a) mineral resources disciplines and (b) other disciplines in so far as carried on in conjunction with education or research in mineral resources disciplines. The Trust predominately supports the Camborne School of Mines and its students as part of the University of Exeter.

Initiate, facilitate and support activities carried out by Christian Churches within the County of Cornwall. These activities are ecumenical ie. carried out in the name of two or more denominations.

The activity of the CIO is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, in particular bythe provision of facilities, encouragement and instruction in the sport of rowing, in particular Cornish PilotGigs, for the benefit of the public.

Fraddon Village Hall provides a central, permanent venue for social, recreational and educational activities for the local community and organisations within Cornwall, at a reasonable cost, but to enable it to remain self supporting. The hall operates an all inclusive policy and has full disabled facilities for the use of patrons .

Provide lunches for 60 (approx) senior citizens every Monday. Provide transport to and from the lunches and various other activities/meetings by means of own minibus adapted for wheelchairs and disabled persons.

The hall provides a location and facilities for a range of activities throughout the year (based on a monthly events programme) including: Community & Administrative meetings, village fete & flower festival, theatre & pantos, sports activities (indoor short mat bowls, badminton, table tennis, football), arts & crafts, music events, variety shows, adult education, coffee mornings etc

The Friends of St Francis School is an association that has been such an integral part of the school community for many years. In its time the Friends have raised many thousands of pounds through fundraising events i.e. Christmas and Summer Fayres, these funds have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children's education and the facilities in the school in general.

Friends of Connor Downs Academy organises fundraising activities to provide the school with extra resources and equipment to improve the children's learning opportunities and enhance their experiences.

Provides buildings/facilities/open space for all age groups including those with disabilities for recreational purposes. Available as a meeting place for other charities/voluntary organisations,club acitivities and for fund raising for purposes to support same. Bringing of the local community together. Available for use as a polling station.

PTA raising funds for St Agnes ACE Academy School to provide educational enrichment

Activities involve providing local children with the opportunity, otherwise not available to them, to learn to sail. The charity provides funds for each child to have lessons with Camel Sailing School and provides the necessary equipment. The aim is to enable those children that so wish to obtain RYA certification to allow them to sail and race independently.

The Withiel Playing Fields Association was formed to acquire the playing fields of Withiel Primary School, and to build a Village Hall on their playing fields. The activity of the Trust nowadays is to manage the Hall in accordance with the Trust Deed for the benefit of those residing in the ÔÇ£area of interestÔÇØ: Withiel (population 351 in the 2001 census) and the surrounding parishes.

We provide education and training in lifesaving, rescue and resuscitation for the benefit of the public in Mullion. The Club runs 20 coaching sessions of 1 hour duration over the winter months at the swimming pool at Helston Leisure Center. During the summer, the Club runs separate coaching sessions for children and adults every week at Polurrian Cove or Mullion Harbour and trains new lifeguards.

RHWS aims to relieve the needs of people in the South WSest with drug & alcohol dependency problems or who are homeless, single parents, families or elderly, by promoting good health; help with finding housing; and recreational facilities to help improve living conditions. As a Christian Charity we want to show the love of Jesus to everyone, to bring hope and rebuild damaged lives.

The transportation of residents of the RAME peninsula to various destinations in Cornwall and Devon, for pre-booked shopping and social excursions. Also available for private hire using volunteer drivers.

The group maintains its own meeting place & holds weekly meetings for each of its sections:- Squirrels (4 to 5 3/4 years), Beavers (6 to 7 3/4 yrs) Cubs (8 to 10 3/4 yrs) Scouts (11 to 15 3/4 yrs) & Explorers (16 to 17 3/4 yrs) following the Scout Association training programme. In addition hikes, camps & other weekend activities are provided under the supervision of volunteer leaders.

The Charity arranges up to ten concerts each year - open to Members and the general public.In addition it arranges for up to six recitals/workshops in local primary schools each year by visiting artists.

The activities of the Launceston Choral Society are as follows:1. Rehearse selected classical choral works and sing them at concert to a paying audience, usually at the Central Methodist Church Launceston.2. Three works are performed annually, plus a Christmas Concert also with a paying audience.
