The Society's New Series publications cover aspects of Westcountry political, social, religious, economic and maritime history. The Society publishes an annual volume which is sent to members on publication. Non-members may also purchase volumes. The Society's Collection of source material, mainly transcriptions of parish registers, is held at the Devon Heritage Centre for public use.

Supporting Musical Activity in Cornwall. Grants for instrument purchase, tuition, travel, audition costs and courses for young players and singers. Predominantly classical musicians but some Brass Band and Jazz applicants considered.

Various fundraising events (eg coffee mornings, summer and Christmas fairs, social events, etc) are held throughout the year in order to (1) develop effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school and (2) to engage in activities or provide facilities, equipment and experiences which support the school and advance the education of its pupils.

Providing grants to any widow, widower, former spouse, separated spouse or a child of a deceased member of the clergy in the Diocese of Truro who are in need by reason of poverty.

Playgroups, primary school gym/dance, amateur drama and pantomime (rehearsal and performance), indoor archery, ballroom dancing and tea dancing, luncheon clubs, parish council meetings, antiques club, visually impaired people's club, fundraising , private parties, lectures films and demonstrations, U3A (art, sport)

For the purpose of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Lansallos together with an area 5 miles outside that boundary without distinction of political religious or other opions including use for meetings lectures and classes and other forms of recreation of leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

RESCUE AND WELFARE OF NEGLECTED, ILL-TREATED AND ABANDONED ANIMALS. OPERATION OF A RESCUE CENTRE FOR A VARIETY OF RODENTS, FELINES, EQUINES, REPTILES, FISH AND CANINES. PROVIDING MAINTENANCE, VETERINARY AND GENERAL HEALTH-CARE. RELIEVING THE PUBLIC OF THE STRESS OF CARING FOR ANIMALS THEY CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO KEEP. EDUCTING THE PUBLIC IN ANIMAL-WELFARE AND RELATED ISSUES.

The object of the CIO is, for the public benefit, to promote participation in Martial Arts.

The Charity maintains the Parish Hall, Lanivet and associated land and aims to use the hall and land for any charitable purpose for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Lanivet .

Provide Surf Life Saving Service and Associated Training Facilities. Recreation, fitness and health through life saving and its associated activities.

Charity supplies premises (village hall) as a meeting place for various village organisations, & headquarters for village band & drama group. Trustees form a management committee. Rents are charged forming the charity's only income.

To promote the development of young people in achieveing their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential. This is done through the provision of an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership.

PROTECT AND MAINTAIN THE OLD METHODIST PREACHING PIT/AMPHITHEATER, (BEING A SCHEDULED MONUMENT), AND IT'S ASSOCIATED COMMUNITY HALL FOR VIEWING AND USE BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC, THE LATTER BEING FOR HIRE TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FUNDS FOR FUTURE MAINTENANCE. ADDITIONAL FUND RAISING WILL ALSO BE UNDERTAKEN TO ENSURE THE CONTINUED SUSTAINABILITY AND PROMOTION AS AN EDUCATIONAL SITE.

To raise money and invite and receive contributions, for the residents of Cadogan Court.

Dance Competition for amateurs aged 21 years and under. Held annually in May at St Stephen, Cornwall.

Fundraising

The Charity's main activity is to provide funding for Christian organisations and individuals who need financial support. Also to fund holidays for Christian workers who are in need of a break and would not otherwise be able to afford these. Also to provide financial support to other Aid Charities with a Christian ethos.
