Help the elderly and lonely

The Charity provides simple,comfortable and affordable accommodation for four local, needy, elderly persons. It was primarily established to help house poor widows in the Town or locality of Fowey.

The charity's activity is to promote,improve,develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music, in particular choir singing, by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

Fundraising for Budehaven Community School

To primarily facilitate use of the hall by third parties.To run a limited number of fund raising events ourselves.To restore aspects of the hall such as the balcony and improve the condition of the hall and it's facilities.

A charity which helps to support the school in which we run from. We organise various events for the children of the school from fairs to discos and all monies raised goes back into the school for the children, whether that be supporting trips or school resources

The Objective of the band shall be to maintain, improve, and advance the education of the public through the promotion and practice of brass band music.

The objectives of the charity are to assist in the treatment and care of persons suffering from mental illness of any description or are in need of rehabilitation; and to advance the education of the public in the subject of mental wellbeing.

In support of the Church of St Just in Roseland

Fundraising events in order to provide equipment/toys/learning resources to children and young people with disabilities

The provision of recreational space for people including a childrens play area with play equipment,tennis courts,football pitch and seating for general use.

Fundraising events held to raise money for Pencalenick school

We have two lounge style rooms for hire.

Providing equipment and opportunities for Armed Forces Veterans to participate in Cornish Pilot Gig rowing either socially or competitively.

General Charity Purposes helping the young, the old and needy people in the Community locally, nationally and internationally.

TO MAINTAIN A STRONG COMMUNITY SPIRIT, BY THE PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL ,SPORTING AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL RESIDENTS

The Society offers its membership a series of ten lectures from January to December each year on the decorative and fine arts, two study days, visits to places or events of interest and a short tour. Liskeard Arts is a member society of The Arts Society . Details of our activities can be found on our website www.liskeardartssociety.org.uk. There are also volunteer groups for arts activities.

Making grants in furtherance of the Christian religion and the relief of poverty

Utilising the investment income of the trust for the general maintenance repair rebuilding or improvement of the structure of Altarnun church and its churchyard including the church bells.
