The charity's objectives are to promote the development of young persons in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, particularly by educating such persons in all aspects of the history and practice of seamanship and seafaring.

We organise various activities and events with the purpose of raising funds to provide facilities and equipment, or to sponsor activities or events, that we feel will directly or indirectly enrich our children's school lives.We also have a role to play in bringing pupils, parents, carers and staff together as part of a wider school community and in engaging with the local community.

The provision of bursaries/awards for the advancement of the musical education and training of deserving young musicians who shall be students of a string instrument at Trinity School, being persons who are capable of pursuing a musical career.

Building suitable for an eye clinic with accommodation for medical staff has been constructed in Kondavil Sri Lanka. Purchase of the necessary equipment has been made . We have recruited locally trained and registered doctors for the eye clinic.Approval has been obtained for the eye clinic in Kondavil and for a mobile clinic. COVID has disrupted activities and 3 clinics have now been held.

We provide football for boys and girls aged from 8 to 12 years inclusive regardless of race or religion and apart from asking parents for a small annual membership fee the football is provided free of charge.

The charity objects are to:? Relieve the poverty and hardship within people in the community. ? Advance the education of the members and to facilitate the provision and access to training on basic skills in English and Mathematics. ? Provide recreational and leisure activities to reduce social isolation or distress.? Deliver health and nutrition information to the the community.

The activities of the Charity are: Drop-in Services, Support Groups, Hospital and Home Visits, Translation and interpretation, Advice and Information, Advocacy and referrals, conducting Workshops and seminars and Promotion of better health and improved quality of life to the African Community.

London Durgotsav Committee, a charitable organisation established in 1963 by few pioneer dedicated Bengalees with the help of late Shri Tusar Kanti Ghosh, doyen of Bengalee journalism who edited Jugantar and Amrita Bazar Patrika, made possible for devotees in London and around areas to have the priviledge of Durga Puja celebration over the past 56 years.

Fundraising events for the purpose of supporting the nurses and health services in Guyana to relieve sickness, help in the preservation and protection of public health by providing information and advice, relieve hardship in Guyana; we provide equipment and educational material and support nursing education establishments. We also contribute to the education of nurses and the community in the UK.

OUR AIM IS TO RAISE MONEY FOR ENHANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE CHILDREN AT ST MARK'S CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL, SOUTH NORWOOD, LONDON SE25. WE HOLD VARIOUS FUND-RAISING ACTIVITES, SUCH AS DISCOS, SUMMER FAIRS AND QUIZZES. THE COMMITTEE DISCUSS AND DECIDE UPON SUGGESTIONS FROM THE SCHOOL OR FROM MEMBERS AS TO APPROPRIATE PURPOSES FOR EXPENDITURE OF PTA FUNDS.

Join our charity's weekly event every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., filled with creativity, learning, and fun! Activities include arts and crafts, digital computer training, and gentle exercises catering to all abilities. Enjoy a delicious three-course healthy meal. Engage in workshops covering current issues, health and well-being, and referrals to statutory services.

ACYDA currently is operating within the New Addington and Croydon locality dealing with sensitization with substance abuse and life skills out door and indoor activities dealing with HIV/AIDS for young people within the community. ACYDA has also extended this activities to Sierra Leone in Kabala and Waterloo helping school going children with school supplies and payment of fees.

Our five core aims for the conservation and enhancement of Portland Road are to improve:? its physical appearance? community facilities? accessibility from the local area and wider area? safety? community involvementThis year?s activities were again focused on community involvement, celebration of heritage and improvement of the physical appearance of the area. Archbishop Tenison's Parents' Association, ATPA exists to raise much needed funds for the school, which benefit all pupils at the school, and equally important, to create a welcoming social atmosphere to the school. Egs. Christmas Fayre, Summer Fun Days, Quiz Nights.
