CARAS (Community Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers) is a community organisation with members from all over London. CARAS works closely with a number of organisations in south London to deliver services for refugees and asylum seekers. Projects include after school and youth clubs, ESOL classes, a women's drop-in and advocacy casework.

(a) to benefit and improve the conditions of life of the inhabitants of Norwood and the neighbourhood;(b) to relieve social or economic need amongst the inhabitants of Norwood and the neighbourhood in particular by the provision of legal and practical advice and counselling

Capacity Building/Infrastructure support to Asian voluntary groups including Training, Seminars/Workshops. ICT, Monitoring & Evaluation Project, Social Enterprise, Health Awareness, Community Leadership Programme as well as Inter-Faith Projects. The charity consults with a wide range of groups and agencies in the Borough and makes representation to decision makers on their behalf.

Everything we do is focused on transforming lives, the journey from dependence to living independently.We do this through our personal development programmes for blind and partially sighted people in Croydon.Our three organisational aims: to deliver practical support, improve services and to raise awareness of sight loss.

The central purpose of St John's Church is to offer the Mass, pray for the community and the good of all creation. We provide a palace of worship for the community, offer pastoral care, teaching and guidance in the Christian Faith. We offer the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Matrimony and attend to the needs of the departed. This is done within a south-east London Parish which is diverse and lively.

The ownership, maintenance of Milton Hall, a place of public religious worship for Christian worship, the Service of God and for the inquiry into Christian truth. Preaching of the Glad tidings and other meetings are also held. The hall is registered for Christian marriage.

Provision of advice services to the people living and working in the London Borough of Croydon and surrounding areas.

Spires is a center for homeless and disadvantaged people. We aim to provide options that allow service users to gain stability in their lives. Services include a rough sleeper's space, showers, clothing, food, women's group, drug and alcohol work, adult learning, mental health support, optician, nurse, dentist, chiropodist, resettlement, tenancy support, outreach, advocacy and emotional support.

To support disabled people move toward, gain and remain in work.

Ability to Change is a Charity that provides a range of services for ex-offenders, vulnerable individuals, who have experienced disadvantages or homelessness.We design and deliver programmes that help people make the transition into education or employment and the ability to change from social exclusion to social inclusion

The main objective of the Trust is the 'advancement of public education in and the appreciation of the art and science of music'. It achieves this through funding a wide range of music related activities at state primary, secondary and tertiary levels and supporting the performance of live classical music by local (mainly amateur) music societies.
