We work with locally based projects that are initiated and controlled by women and communities facing severe economic and social conditions. Our aim is to support Latin American women who are freeing their potential and, alongside their men, determining the direction of their communities for the benefit of everyone. Our projects are small scale with clear objectives and visible practical results.

We are committed to enhancing students understanding of the institutional and political in-working of the United Nations (UN) organisation. Through attending simulated UN conferences, students act as ambassadors, representatives, and national leaders of their assigned countries whilst debating a variety of issues in a manner consistent with the procedure of the real UN.

The NUHA Foundation runs a free annual writing competition, known as the Blogging Prizes. This is designed to promote thinking and sharing around questions of education, in an inclusive manner that supports the self-confidence of participants, including non-native speakers of the competition language.

A NATIONWIDE TEAM OF VOLUNTEER JOURNALISTS GATHER AUDIO IN A UNIQUE WAY, BY TALKING PEER TO PEER TO THEIR FRIENDS, FAMILY OR THROUGH MORE OFFICIAL CONNECTIONS MADE VIA YOUTH GROUPS OR CLUBS.
