The British Council creates friendly knowledge and understanding between the people of the UK and other countries. We do this by making a positive contribution to the UK and the countries we work with. We reach millions of people across the world, working with over 100 countries in the fields of arts and culture, English language, education and civil society.

Lloyd's Register Foundation promotes safety and education. Most of the consolidated income is attributable to the Lloyd's Register Group, a trading group that distributes profit to the Foundation. It is received dividends and not the consolidated trading income that is available to the Foundation. The trading group is a 'Social Investment' that also furthers the Foundation's charitable aims.

The Trust's objective is to raise funds from a broad range of donors and make grants to Registered Charities concerned with the advancement of such exclusively charitable objects as the Trustees shall from time to time determine.

We are working to make the Bible available and accessible worldwide and build people's confidence in it. We are an advocate for the Bible's place in our national life and we work closely with 146 other Bible Societies across the world to deliver our global ministry.

ASDAN's aim is the advancement of education, by providing opportunities for all learners to develop their personal and social attributes and levels of achievement through the use and attainment of ASDAN awards and qualifications, and the relief of poverty, where poverty inhibits such opportunities for learners. The David Nott Foundation provides surgeons and medical professionals with the skills they need to provide relief and assistance in conflict and natural disaster zones around the world. As well as providing the best medical care, David Nott Foundation surgeons train local healthcare professionals; leaving a legacy of education and better health outcomes.

The MS International Federation is a global network of organisations. We collaborate to improve the quality of life of people affected by MS and work for: better scientific understanding and development of treatments; improved access to treatment and to trustworthy information; better policies and practices; a strong MS movement, including in countries with challenging socio-economic conditions.

The charity held a Congress in Moscow via a special purpose vehicle and has set up a scholarship fund in Russia for local education legacies on sustainability of energy.The council hosted Youth forum events around the globe so that the younger generation can get involved with the sustainability of energy in a way that can help future usage.Publications were made available.
