The British Council Benevolent Fund's charitable purpose is the alleviation of financial hardship for British Council employees, both past and present, and their families, globally. THE 'FOSTER PARENTS' PROVIDE LOCAL HELP AND ADVICE THROUGHOUT THE ADOPTION AS WELL AS PROVIDING A VITAL LINK IN THE AFTERCARE SERVICE. WE ALSO MAKE GRANTS TO & ASSIST OTHER UK REGISTERED CHARITIES WITH SIMILAR PURPOSES.

In this financial year the Foundation has continued to raise support from individual donors.
