TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE IN NEED

We provide an alternative route to achieve awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award as many young people for various reasons, do not wish to, or cannot access such awards, e.g., due to their background and /or lack of personal support or funding. Our organisation supports these young people and helps build their self-confidence through achievement of a nationally recognised award.

Provision of general charitable benefits for the inhabitants of the ecclesiastical Parish of Walbrook-Epiphany in the City of Derby

The Derby Chamber Music Society promotes live professional performances of classical chamber music within the city of Derby, engaging both established and young emerging musicians from the UK and overseas.The Society's season runs from October to April each year.

We provide a building that other groups can hire from us for various activities.

Church Activities

To advance the Christian faith by providing space for hire by local churches, charities and any other interested members of the community in our church hall.

?In accordance with the terms of the Trust, grants are made from income to ladies in Nottingham who are, in the Trustees opinion, in need of financial help. The Trustee is satisfied that the purpose remain charitable and for the public benefit. The Trustee has complied with the duty in Section 4 of the Charity Act 2006 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Comm.?

Fundraising Events - Summer Fayres, Christmas Fayres, Easter Competitions,Easter Raffles, Tuck shops, School Discos etc

We are an increasing number of parents and school staff who work voluntarily on fund raising events to support the school in buying resources, funding trips and providing extra-curricular experiences for the children. We form a link between the school and the wider community and last year we ran a crowd funding campaign which was supported by local businesses.

To advance the education of pupils in the School in particular by:Developing effective relationships between the staff parents and others associated with the school;Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the School and advance the education of the pupils.

We conserve and maintain the walled garden for public use and enjoymentWe produce food and plants and have a growing volunteer base for garden workWe provide educational and recreational activities conected to the garden and wider parkWe are currently improving the appearance and planting of the walled garden

A MIXED VOICE NON-AUDITION CHOIR OF 50 MEMBERS PROVIDING CONCERTS FOR THE PUBLIC WITH A LARGE REPERTOIRE FROM LARGE CHORAL WORKS WITH ORCHESTRA TO SONGS FROM MUSICALS AND OTHER PART SONGS. WE ARE A FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING SOCIETY.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN ATTENDING ASHGATE NURSERY AND CENTRAL NURSERY SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY: 1) DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH ASHGATE NURSERY AND CENTRAL NURSERY SCHOOL; 2) PROVIDING FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT OR GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE NOT REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY

The Society provides and advertises a public monthly lecture programme relating to all aspects of the history of Belper and the region. Provides public exhibitions, and has published several books. We have amassed, conserved and catalogued a huge collection of photographs of the area, a large collections of archive documents and of historic artifacts which are used for education and research.

Sporting activity with children

The charity serves the communities within Derby extending to Derbyshire and surrounding towns and cities through faith based activities. Providing religious education and general well being support to people of all ages, social groups and ethnicity. Other activities include prayer networks, senior citizens coffee mornings, bible studies. Baby blessings, wedding blessings and funerals.

The relief of sickness and the preservation of life to members of the public by providing trained volunteers to attend medical emergencies as directed by East Midlands Ambulance Service.

IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE EVANGELICAL DENOMINATION IN THE CITIES OF NOTTINGHAM AND DERBY; AND TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS WITHIN THESE REGIONS THE CHURCH ORGANISES FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES TO RAISE MONEY AND USES DIFFERENT FORMS OF DONATIONS SUCH AS TITHES. OFFERINGS TO MEET THESE OBJECTIVES.

To advance in life and help young people aged 30 and under resident in the geographical area of the East Midlands through the provision of grants of financial assistance to enable them to advance their education and develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

To restore the Hippodrome Theatre, Derby, a Grade II listed building, such that it can make a major contribution to the cultural life of Derby.
