IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE EVANGELICAL DENOMINATION IN THE CITIES OF NOTTINGHAM AND DERBY; AND TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS WITHIN THESE REGIONS THE CHURCH ORGANISES FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES TO RAISE MONEY AND USES DIFFERENT FORMS OF DONATIONS SUCH AS TITHES. OFFERINGS TO MEET THESE OBJECTIVES.

In accordance with the terms of the Trust grants are made to C of E clergy within 10 Miles of St Peters Church Nottingham at the Trustee discretion to augment their living costs . The Trustee is satisfied that the purposes remain charitable. The Trustee have complied with the duty in Section 4 of the Charity Act 06 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Comm.

Helping people resident in the parishes of Dalbury, Mackworth, Markeaton, Mercaston, Mickleover and Radbourne under the age of 25 in need of financial assistance in preparation for and during employment, with the secondary purposes of assisting residents in those parishes of any age who are in need.

Monthly meetings with refreshments and speaker, and some outings for the benefit of the members

A fund raising charity to provide extra resources and experiences for children at Chellaston Infants School, Derby.

We aim to support people who are HIV positive targeting mainly BME Black and minority ethnic group, youth/young people their families,& carers, but the wider public will be able to benefit from our services Activities include: Drop-in Peer Support One-to-one support Groups/workshops Treatment education resources Advice/guidance HIV awareness training/eventsComprehensive referrals

The relief of children and young adults with additional pyshical and mental health needs in Derby by provision of therapeutic swimming facilties, teaching and coaching for encouraging, promoting and developing such persons.

We are a local amateur theatre group dedicated to presenting quality theatre for the local community of Spondon in Derby. We perform two main productions per year in Spring and Autumn and are self financed from members subscriptions. Any profits are re-invested towards improving future performances.

Eleven monthly meetings, usually with a speaker, are held during the year. Special interest groups are organised & outings & lunches arranged. Members are also involved in voluntary work in the community. We also participate in the wider activities of the WI Federation regionally & nationally.

Opieka's co-ordinators and volunteers befriend and support the elderly of Polish origin or their spouses in their own homes, in residential care and nursing homes accompanying them on visits to specialists and doctors, frequently assisting with translations and form filling. The charity operates in the Derby City and surrounding area

We provide a free, one-to-one coaching programme to help adults learn to read.

The Shaheed Bhagat Singh Welfare Centre continue to provide:Accomodation to community voluntry groups. Provides advise on welfare benefits, immigration issues, filling forms, writing letter, interpration, translations, sign post to ther relevant service providers, Advocacy service, activities to raise awareness on health and education related issues. to Cebtrate festivals.Training courses.
