Our objectives are set to reflect our faith and community aims. Each year our trustees review our objectives and activities to ensure they continue to reflect our aims. In carrying out this review the trustees have considered the Charity Commission?s general guidance on public benefit and in particular its supplementary public guidance on the advancement of religion for the public benefit.

Activities of religious organizations. ( Mosque )

The charity employs people who would otherwise find multiple barriers to entry, such as homelessness, addiction history, and ex-offenders. We offer support and mentoring through volunteers and own subsidiary social enterprise trading companies that employ these people. We currently operate in Nottinghamshire

Derbyshire LGBT improves the health & wellbeing of individuals to enable them to achieve their full potential irrespective of their Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity. We provide support & information to individuals regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity & deliver health promotion & health education services to LGBT people to improve their physical, mental & emotional health.

We have the responsibility of co-operating with the Priest in Charge (currently in vacancy), in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. We have maintenance responsibilities for the main church buildings that form St Alkmund's, 40 Kedleston Road, Derby.

Provides residential holidays for disadvantaged Derbyshire children.

Provision of activities for girls and boys

Hindu Temple Geeta Bhawan, provides free lunch to Senior Citizens, Teach Hindi, Malayalam Languages, yoga classes and Indian classical Dances. Provide Hindu Religious services, place of worship, cultural activities, Inter faith dialogue, discourses on Vedas and other scriptures. Conduct Civil Marriages, Marriages according to Vedic Rituals and provide priests for Hindu rituals.

Derby Womens Centre provides a range of activities to enchance the well being of women and girls in Derbyshire. We deliver a highly respected counselling service, a series of drop in coffee mornings, alternative therapies, drama therapy, benefit & debt advice; employment & Volunteering advice. We run relaxation and confidence building courses and hold drama therapy classes & provide legal advice.

The advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.

The aims of the preschool are to enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups. Pre-school is open to children from the term before they turn 3 yrs old. From Sept 2014 pre-school will be accepting a limited number of children who are 2 years of age.

Based in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, we deliver woodland based learning experiences to provide support for children, young people and adults who are experiencing disadvantage, and who have limited access to the natural world. Activities nurture confidence, communication, self esteem, emotional well-being, resilience, social skills, and develop a relationship with nature to support these.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for participating in paddle-sport and associated water-sports.

Our charity supports the provision of religious services for the Romanian Community (and anyone interested) in the East Midlands. Promoting the Christian values of charity, and respect for everyone, ROCNE will support families in need, organize educational events for children and adults, help the community to develop and help its members to integrate harmoniously within the British society.

Anglican Church, preaching the Gospel, proclomation and outreach

We create bespoke employment, encouragement & support for individuals who have suffered the trauma of modern day slavery. We do that by making fabulous artisan ice cream in Derbyshire. Our small team are trauma informed & journey with each individual to empower & equip them for their future. We raise awareness & speak on spotting the signs of slavery in schools, businesses & our community.

Provides a service, mainly in upland or mountain areas, to save life and alleviate distress. Additionally undertakes searches of lowland and rural areas for missing persons when requested by the Police

PATRA Inc ACDA seeks to remove all forms of disadvantage that prevents individuals from BME Groups, competing on an equal basis in the labour market. It is also a means of ensuring that BME people are properly represented in skilled and senior positions in proportion to their presence in the labour market. PATRA Inc ACDA also carries out research into issues affecting the BME community.
