The Radio Communication Museum of Great Britain is a traditional museum focused on the science and equipment of radio communication. In addition to the display of equipment and documentation, the museum provides training in software programming (coding), electronics design and development and the construction and operation of radio communication equipment and software to both children and adults.

TO RAISE MONEY TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT FOR THE INTENSIVE CARE OF INFANTS

The principle activity of the charity is to provide facilities and training classes in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

The charity donates money to schools and students in the Arusha Archdiocese in Tanzania. It also sponsors young people from a Catholic secondary school in Derby who have just completed their A levels to visit schools and parishes there for three months. They are able to socialise with the Tanzanian students and help them with their English.

We empower male and female survivors aged 18 and over affected by childhood sexual, incest, emotional and physical abuse, neglect, rape, trafficking, and exploitation to rebuild their lives through trauma-informed recovery, personal development, education, training, and opportunities. We also raise awareness and improve professional understanding of the lifelong impact and prevalence of trauma.

Promoting and staging an annual LGBT festival with additional smaller events in Derby

The charity provides and maintains the village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Mickleover. This is achieved through the hire of rooms to many varied groups e.g. children's activity group, exercise classes, community groups etc. Additional income is generated by renting out an otherwise unused area at the rear of the premises for a mobile phone base station and mast.

Samaritans offers confidential emotional support 24 hours a day to those who are experiencing feelings of emotional distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide. Samaritans listen and encourage the recognition and exploration of their options. Nottingham Bach Choir educates the public in the art and science of music, in the presentation of concerts. A particular activity is the study and performance of the music of J S Bach and his contemporaries.The choir rehearses weekly during term time at St John's Church, Carrington and performs three or four times a year in mainly church venues in the city and county of Nottinghamshire.
