RAISING FUNDS ON BEHALF OF WREN PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT FOR THE CHILDREN

To provide a Village Hall facility for Social, Recreational, Educational and Village Governance use by the local Community of Brassington. Also to provide this facility for use by others not resident in the Parish of Brassington at the discretion of the Village Hall Management Committee.

Muddy Fork helps people experiencing mental health challenges take back control of their lives through volunteer gardening & conservation in Bassetlaw (North Nottinghamshire) and surrounding areas.

Donations to local, National and International charitable causes. Providing a day out at the Fair for special needs children and adults. Sponsoring young people to pursue educational/humanitarian expeditions.

Raffles and Fetes

The Sorby Natural History Society is the Natural History society for the Sheffield City region, providing education, research and publications, including biological and geological recording of wildlife, habitats, rocks and landscapes. Operates mostly in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and the Peak District.

Provides newspaper archives for research etc, other local archives, companies, industrial info, photographs (35000) and approx 1000 maps. We sell our own local history books (produced in house) to raise funds to operate, provide schools with local history information in classes. We provide a free entry reading room for visitors and other local groups.

School parents/teachers association.

Our church is a branch of The Mother Church. The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts. We hold Sunday services at 11am - also a Testimony meeting every first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 p.m. Our Reading Room is open for half an hour before each service. The general public and visitors are warmly welcome.

Amateur Dramatic Society

Raise money to be spent on equipment and activities for the children of Litton CE(A) Primary School.

Whitwell Brass perform several public concerts each year in addition to competing in brass band competitions. The band also provides tuition to players of all ages.

To promote and assist the general good of older people within the electoral wards of Buxton. Applications should be no more that two A4 sides, stating objectives and sent to the trust chair. Applications are welcomed from individuals and organisations.The trust also welcomes donations, please contact any trustee for further information.

Conservation and promotion of wildlife in the woods while improving usability for local people and schools. Bug hunts, Treasure Hunts, Easter Egg Hunts, Wassailing Event, Celebration Events, Fashion Shows, Race Nights. Manage local woodland and paths for use and enjoyment of local people. Environmental studies for local schools.

To provide a facility for people, clubs, associations to meet.

The principal activity of the charity is to declare the Christian Gospel, and to promote Christian missions.We currently have two trust workers conducting assemblies in schools, by invitation, around Matlock and further parts of Derbyshire. Materials and teaching aids have been produced by our workers to assist others in reaching out to young people.

We meet each Friday. Members are brought by community bus to the Medway Centre. They have coffee, then socialise by chatting, playing cards, dominoes etc. A hot lunch is provided. There is various entertainment during the afternoon. Two or three times a year we organise days out.

RUNNING OF THE VILLAGE HALL IN ELVASTON

We give grants to voluntary sector community groups to improve the services and facilities in the village of Grindleford and promote the conservation, protection, and improvement of the physical and natural environment, particularly by promoting sustainable transport in Grindleford and taking measures to mitigate the effects of climate change.

WE ARE THE PTA ORGANISATION REPRESENTING CHINLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL AND AIM TO REINFORCE AND ADD POSITIVE EXPERIENCES TO OUR CHILDRENS' LEARNING.
