For the relief of poverty, distress & sickness amongst the people living within the area of the old urban district of Claycross in the county of Derbyshire & in particular for the benefit of families with young children who are in need of assistance.

This Association supports childrens and youth recreation activities in the Hope Valley area of Derbyshire,working within a Christian Ethos but open to all.

Helping people resident in the parishes of Dalbury, Mackworth, Markeaton, Mercaston, Mickleover and Radbourne under the age of 25 in need of financial assistance in preparation for and during employment, with the secondary purposes of assisting residents in those parishes of any age who are in need.

The object of the Opera Group is to educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts and to further the development of the public appreciation and taste in the said arts, to assist and further such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as the committee from time to time shall determine.

Derby Gilbert and Sullivan Company is a non professional theatre group. The works of Gilbert and Sullivan are a significant part of our British heritage and we aim entertain, educate and keep their operettas alive through our productions and concerts.

Manchester 500 Group of Advanced Motorcyclists are affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists. We offer courses throughout the year that help motorcycle riders to reach Advanced Test standard and enable them to take and pass the Test. We also have a social side to the group offering a variety of motorcycle related activities.

Social activities, Speakers and local trips out meeting on the last Monday of each month.

Charity meets twice a year to consider application of income in the area of benefit (parish of Croxall and Edingale) in diocese of Derbyshire and Lichfield income broadly applied according to section 8 of this form.

The charity already provides a wide range of leisure and social activities for all age groups based in the village of Cutthorpe. The Charity will continue to develop new activities to meet the identified needs of the Cutthorpe villagers.

Conservation and operation of EM2 locomotive 27000 and other associated railway vehicles. Promotion of and research into the Woodhead route where the EM2 locomotives worked in the UK.
