Income to be used for the relief of poverty amongst old age pensioners and for the relief of the sick in the Town of Newton Abbot and the Parishes of Abbotskerswell, Bickington, Broadhempston, Coffinswell, Haccombe-with-Combe, Ipplepen, Kingskerswell, Kingsteignton, Teigngrace, Torbryan and Ogwell, all in the County of Devon.

Fundraising events including Festive/seasonal fayres ie Summer/Christmas.

Educational groups

To operate the Christian bookshop, Choice Words, and its conference and event support services. To promote the Christian faith and provide publications and resources to educate people about that faith.

Maintenance and operation of Holne Village Hall

We aim to promote social inclusion and assist peoples' general well-being, particularly but not exclusively, men aged 18 or over within the Kingsbridge and surrounding area by supporting each other socially.We do this by sharing practical skills and experience, providing facilities, woodworking tools and equipment for hobbies, creative activities and also helping with local community projects.

The purpose of PlyMSEF is to advance education in marine science and related subjects by:(i) providing funds to enable students and early career scientists from the participating institutions to attend conferences, symposia etc in marine sciences;(ii) providing funds to promote Marine Science and related subjects with public lectures and seminars in Plymouth and an annual student conference.

WE PROVIDE FUNDRAISING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR RAISING EXTRA FUNDS FOR THE PRIMARY SCHOOL

The Society aims to promote and foster public knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the history of Colyton Parish. There is a museum and display at the Heritage Centre together with a research room for those interested in local and family history. Regular town walks take place for those interested in the history of the buildings, and a series of monthly talks and discussions are held.

The charity raises funds and provides services for the local community. It also raises funds for Rotary approved and other national and international charities.

To advance education and in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age (being the period of time after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Braunton and its surrounding locality.

Maintain and improve the environment of the axe, yarty and lim catchments, specifically the landscape, wildlife and buildings, in a sustainable manner. To provide volunteers to undertake practical tasks. To monitor planning and development proposals in the area and to respond appropriately.

The provision and maintenance of a recreation ground for the benefit of the inhabitants of Tedburn St Mary and surrounding area in the interest of social welfare with a view to improving the conditions of life of such inhabitants

From our constitution: "providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for the education at the School (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority or a Multi-Academy Trust) and.....(a) foster more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school(b) engage in activities which support the School & advance the education of the pupils."

A centre for Family Support in the Plympton area. We began as the community action arm of the CCBC church and now operate with numerous partners to provide support for anyone in need in the local community.

To promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for horses which are in need of care and attention as a result of their owners being unable to care for them, or rehome them by providing a home for as long as needed where the horses retirement, behavioural or health needs will be managed.

The Sweetings Charity uses grants to assist solely organisations and residents of East Down and Arlington Parishes in charitable and religious activities and endeavours.
