Widewell Parents & Friends Association exists to support Widewell Primary Academy. We hold events for the benefit of pupils and families linked to the school, and for community involvement, such as school discos, fayres, cake sales, raffles and movie nights. We use the events to fundraise for the things needed at school, like money towards class trips, playground and classroom equipment.

we are a community based gardening group of volunteers that create gardens within our boundary of the area we live. the gardens we create will be used to enter Britain in Bloom competition.

We provide a community centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of Ivybridge and surrounding area. We offer affordable rates for local community organisations, registered charities and voluntary groups, subsidising lets where appropriate. We constantly develope and upgrade the centre's facilities for everyone to use and enjoy.

A Dementia Friendly Club called The Meet and Remember Club.Offering members the opportunity to have fellowship and share their memories. Coffee and biscuits are offered on arrival and lunch served before going home.The main part of the morning is taken up with a compilation of entertainment using our supper projector and sound system reliving songs, movies and comedy from yesteryear.

Due to the cessation of grant funding for core costs, The Trust no longer employs any staff and relies on volunteers and some admin support from it's trading subsidiary.It is planned that the trading subsidiary will eventually produce sufficient profits to provide funding for some core costs. The Trustees are currently looking for new sources of grant funding
