Maintenance and management of the Millennium Green for the benefit of the whole community of the Sandford area in order that it remains an attractive place to take exercise, meet others, pursue leisure activities and enjoy nature and wildlife; and to hold community events.

The society holds various events for members and the public and attends public events with its trade & display stalls. Details of these are included in the quarterly news letter & the section of the societies web site.

The rescue and permanent care of elderly sick and abandoned animals and birds made homeless through the illness or death of their owners or such change in circumstances as renders them unable to care for them.

The Charity provides rooms for use by the public and puts on activities for the people and children in the village and surrounding area.

The League, by means of voluntary service and fundraising, exists to provide funds and/or resources to supplement Teignmouth Hospital, its services in the community and such other hospitals and other health related organisations and their services as benefit the wider local community.

Denbury Parish Hall charity offers building based resources for hire by the local community. Its aim is to promote social, sporting, entertaining and educational activities. The charity is currently involved in developing a new site: A new hall with a multi-court facility.

Fund raising to support the education of pupils in the school. This involves organising activities or providing facilities or equipment to support the school and ensuring effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school are maintained.

We have raised funds through events such as a non-uniform day, bags to school clothes collections, bingo, off site events and running refreshment stalls at College events. The money raised is donated to the college to provide educational equipment, informative visits and off site trips to enrich the pupils experience at school. We support the college on its information evenings where appropriate.

TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR SURFING AS WELL AS PROVIDING A DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR U18 SURFERS

We hold events such as Fete & Bingo's to raise money to enhance the life of the students at the school. We look to assist the school in fundraising to help purchase resources that otherwise may not be afforded and to put on events for the children and support things such as transport for educational trips
