The Island is managed for people to enjoy and for the protection of wildlife. When these aims conflict, the protection of wildlife will normally take precedence.

Running 3 sections of the Horrabridge Scout Group - Beavers,Cubs and Scouts.This includes weekly meetings for all sections, regular camps and trips, fundraising events during year.We also have our own field in the village, with an equipment store, built with the help of the local community and our members.

The trustees follow a general policy of distributing the trust's income whilst maintaining the substance of the trust's investments to enlarge its grant-giving potential.

Welfare of families, especially from the Philippines.

We hold regular monthly meetings throughout the year, with a guest speaker and also arrange outings for members. We have a series of local history projects on the go at any one time, currently these include: North Hall and Digitising and Cataloguing the History Group and Parish Archive.

The charity puts on events throughout the year and receive grant applications from other organisations to help child poverty and humanitarian crises overseas.

Management and running of a community village hall.

We provide a holiday playscheme for disabled children aged 5-16 years. We run 10 day trips per year to venues and attractions in and around Devon, so the children can have fun, socially interact with peers, and try new things in a safe and supervised way. Every other year we take our young people aged 12 and over on a Residential trip to an adventure/activity centre.

Provides grants to people who have not attained the age of 25 years and are resident in the Parish of Braunton for financial assistence with providing books, tools etc to assist in their education

We are a public amenity pressure group which aims to raise awareness of environmental and planning issues around South Hams. We review planning applications for their impact on the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and submit letters of representation to the Local Planning Authority, South Hams District Council. We organise events (walks, visits, beach cleans) for our members.

We provide recreational facilities for the enjoyment of Skittles, Dances, BBQs and Quiz Nights as well as an Annual Flower Show and other events primarily for the villagers of the parish

We provide space for those who need a large , well maintained space for whatever (legal) activities proposed. It can for meetings, play groups, dog training Gardening club talks, Parish Council,weddings ,Harvest activities and all general village activities.

Management and conservation of Parish Turbaries

To advance the Christian religion and in particular to support the work of Souh Molton Gospel Hall in its various facets both in and around the area of South Molton, Devon and such other areas as may be deemed appropriate from time to time including overseas. To advance the Christian religion in any part of the world. To advance religious education in accordance with the doctrines and principles

Raising money through membership and events which is granted to South Molton Parish Church, both the physical building and in promotion of the congregation.

We provide a safe and welcoming environment for children aged 0-5 years, their parents/carers and their older siblings up to the age of 12 to play, learn, build friendship and strengthen community cohesion.

The provision of affordable rental accommodation for local people in perpetuity.

We raise funds for one school, Summer Fayres, Christmas Fayres, Book Fayres, Fashion Shows and general fundraising

We support the learning-disabled residents of Stallcombe House, EX5 1EX, registered charity 283877, providing enrichment for their lives. We support parents and extended families of residents. We have regular small fund-raising activities in Devon.

Provide a facility for meetings and events for the people of the village and surrounding area

Further the education/knowledge of members by way of speakers and visits to places of interest. Fundraising to support this educational activity and also in support of local charities that give support to our local community.
