We are a public amenity pressure group which aims to raise awareness of environmental and planning issues around South Hams. We review planning applications for their impact on the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and submit letters of representation to the Local Planning Authority, South Hams District Council. We organise events (walks, visits, beach cleans) for our members.

To advance the Christian religion and in particular to support the work of Souh Molton Gospel Hall in its various facets both in and around the area of South Molton, Devon and such other areas as may be deemed appropriate from time to time including overseas. Providing accommodation for mainly local people in need ,it was at first intended for the poor of the parish ,this is going back a long time and before we joined the Almshouse Association , it is still our intention to help people in need for different reasons .

Raising money through membership and events which is granted to South Molton Parish Church, both the physical building and in promotion of the congregation.

The Charity organises events to raise money to fund equipment and activities for the pupils of The Park Community School, Barnstaple, Devon

Provision of medical equipment and charitable support for the work of the Royal Eye Infirmary, Plymouth

The provision of affordable rental accommodation for local people in perpetuity.

We raise funds for one school, Summer Fayres, Christmas Fayres, Book Fayres, Fashion Shows and general fundraising

Ensuring there is sufficent funding to maintain, repair and improve the hall facilities for the use of the residents of the parish and general public by hiring out the facilities and equipment and organising fund raising events.

The trustees follow a general policy of distributing the trust's income whilst maintaining the substance of the trust's investments to enlarge its grant-giving potential.

Running and maintaining the village hall for use and hire by the village and others.

Provide a facility for meetings and events for the people of the village and surrounding area

We are a non auditioned choir who sing for pleasure. Performing 3 concerts per year in the Torbay area and providing a workshop for people to come and sing with us once a year.

We aim to promote social inclusion and assist peoples' general well-being, particularly but not exclusively, men aged 18 or over within the Kingsbridge and surrounding area by supporting each other socially.We do this by sharing practical skills and experience, providing facilities, woodworking tools and equipment for hobbies, creative activities and also helping with local community projects.

The charity runs a music and arts festival each spring as well as Friends events throughout the year in the Tavistock area

Village hall is used by a number of organisations and individuals as a meeting place. It is regularly used by over 40 people per week and as a venue for church functions, local School, the Womens Institute and other community organisations, local doctor's advice centre, skittles, bingo, local choir etc. Display boards provide information on local planning issues and local business.

Due to the cessation of grant funding for core costs, The Trust no longer employs any staff and relies on volunteers and some admin support from it's trading subsidiary.It is planned that the trading subsidiary will eventually produce sufficient profits to provide funding for some core costs. The Trustees are currently looking for new sources of grant funding

Distribution of income to the elderly who are resident in the parish at Christmas.

Fundraising for items for patients comfort for Redlands Primary care

Provides funding for various items and activities for children at Kings Nympton Primary School.
