Provision of Car Service to transport clients to hospital & doctor's appointments. Financial assistance to local churches, Job Centre, families in need, food banks, local schools & colleges, Centre for people with disabilities, Scouts, Heritage and Arts centres, local community projects. Community sports centre, bereavement counselling.

The charity owns and runs a community centre which has an indoor sports hall with two badminton courts of international size. It accommodates short mat bowls - 6 rinks, indoor football & basketball. There is stage area and lighting and a separate, 40 seat meeting room, kitchen and toilets. The main hall seats up to 250 for functions, conferences, wedding receptions & dances.

Pre-school education for 18 months - 4yrs 11 months

Kingsteignton Swimming Pool was built in 1979 by the Community for the Community and continues to be run by volunteers. We have a 25 metre heated outdoor swimming pool and open in April to September. The pool provides general swimming, lessons for children and adults, aqua-circuit sessions and private hire. Local schools and clubs also use the pool. We are open and accessible to all

Advancing the Christian faith through church services and other activities.

The provision and maintenance of Cliff House for the inhabitants of, and visitors to Salcombe, Devon. More specifically, the aim is to provide community facilities such as an assembly room, reading room, library and recreation gardens for those in the locality. Cliff House is now also marketed as a venue for weddings, corporate events and private parties.

Vocal offers a free and independent issue based Advocacy services for adults with learning disabilities or communication difficulties.Vocal is also able to take on specialist contract work and can provide training for small groups of clients and the people who support them.

THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE BAPTIST DENOMINATION. THE CHURCH MAY ALSO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND CARRY OUT OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND/OR OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD.

To help and educate children between the ages of nine and eighteen years through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities so that they may grow to full maturity as adults and members of the community and that their conditions of life may be improved employing the traditions and practices of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines to achieve this.

Recycling of freely donated bicycles to give affordable access to fully reconditioned roadworthy bikes, to local children and adults, to enable them to improve their health, increase their opportunities for employment, reduce the cost of their transport, interact within their community, volunteer and fund raise. Training and instruction in road safety is provided both on and off road.

Continuation of main purposes of the charity

We provide care and support to those who are unwell, elderly, or living with disability or loneliness in the local community. We offer day care and transport services and in doing so also provide essential respite for carers. We work with others, including our local medical practice, to enable people to remain as independent as possible in their own homes, and to uphold the dignity of our clients.

Religious Activities

Providing accessible community transport for Totnes and its surrounding villages, through scheduled bus routes, regular travel club excursions, and hire to community groups. We aim to make our services friendly and accessible for all residents and visitors, and especially passengers of limited mobility, the elderly, and anyone without access to their own vehicle.

Pastoral care is provided and support is given to Christian workers. Help and support is provided to Persecuted Christians and to the poor.

to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for the playing of association football and other sports capable of improving health,to provide and assist in providing facilities for sport, recreation or other leisure time activities andto advance the education of children and young people as the trustees think fit in accordancewith the law of charity.

PROVIDE FUNDS FOR ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT/STAFF TRAINING AND IMPROVEMENT TO THE HOSPITAL, ITS SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDING COMMUNITY SERVICES AND TRANSPORT FOR THE HEALTH WELFARE AND COMFORT OF PATIENTS AND STAFF.
