The principal object is to safeguard, protect and preserve the good health, both mental and physical of children and parents of children. This is achieved by the home family support of families in need with at least one child under 12 working with volunteers. Its area of work is defined as within Plymouth, Torbay, South Hams and West Devon.

The Charity awards grants to individuals, schools, parishes and corporate bodies to further the following objectives: in the promotion of the education of persons involved with religious education; the provision of instruction and resources to schools and parishes; to assist persons financially so they can attend an establishment of further education to pursue their education.

Registered charity Seaton Gateway Theatre Company have a 30year rolling lease of the building. A wide and varied range of activities and events are organised by the company to generate funds for new equipment, furnishings and ongoing maintenance. The aim is to bring Arts and Culture to Seaton for residents and visitors alike whilst ensuring sustainability of the building.

The Trustees have elected to concentrate (although not exclusively) on registered charities concerned with hearing or sight issues and prison welfare, reform and systems. When considering donations for UK based charities, the Trustees favour charities in the West Midlands and South West areas. The activities and purposes of the circuit include the effective deployment of resources of ministry, including people (both staff and volunteers), property and finance, within the member churches, development of circuit policy, training of local (lay) preachers, and the organisation of circuit events including church services, quiet days and retreats, and outreach events.

Nestled in the centre of Bradninch, The Duchy Preschool is at the heart of our community. As a non-profit organisation, we're proud of the service we provide to local families and the fun, nurturing, safe learning environment we offer our children. KARST is established to advance the arts for the public benefit by the promotion and education of contemporary art for the benefit of the public, establishing outreach projects in order to harness engagement with our local communities to promote the arts for the benefit of the public by the establishment and maintenance of an art gallery, artist studios and project space.

Maintenance of the community hall for community events, a weekly market, social events, films, concerts, lectures, leisure classes etc. Provision of youth activities, activities for older people, community information, a community cafe and campaigns on issues of interest to the local community.

Maintains three church buildings for regular use by the general public and various local bodies, eg. music festival, Dartmouth Orchestral Society, Dartmouth Community College Womens Institute. Also maintains a building used by Dartmouth pre-school, Dartmouth Brownies and Dartmouth Players (amateur dramatics).
