The Blackdown Healthy Living & Activity Centre is a charity dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of people of all ages, particularly those who are either elderly or socially isolated. We operate in an area broadly defined by the Blackdown Hills, which sit on the Somerset/Devon border.

Provide facilities of community centre for general public

To protect indigenous flora and fauna, preserve and improve features of historic and environmental interest; educate the public in issues relating to biodiversity and traditional skills.

Providing meaningful education to adults with special needs in the hospitality sector.

To advance charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the Trustees see fit from time to time in particular but not limited to advancing the education of young people by making grants to schools and to students. The charity shall benefit in particular but not exclusively, the population surrounding the Nayamba Primary School in the Chisamba region of Zambia.

To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by offering appropriate play, education and care facilities, together with the right of parents to become involved in the activities of the group, ensuring that the group offers opportunities for all children regardless of race,culture, religion, means or ability.

Pre-school play group. Providing early years education to 2.5 - 4 year olds.

Newton Abbot Swimming and Water Polo Club is dedicated to supporting all members of the club to reach their full potential. The club is inclusive, where every member is valued and encouraged to work within the club community to achieve their goals, which may include regional or national level performance and/or supporting others to reach theirgoals.

WE PROVIDE EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AGED 2-5 YEARS UNDER THE EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE.

We aim to give people with a disability the opportunity to enjoy a safe and pleasurable experience of seagoing sailing including short local cruising of about two to three hours and for the more adventurous, longer coastal passages.

Pregnancy Crisis Care exists to offer free, confidential counselling and support to those facing any pregnancy-related crises, at any age/stage. This includes impartial pregnancy-choices counselling, counselling for difficulties after abortion, counselling for baby loss, and support within pregnancy . These services are offered 1:1 to women (and their partners), or in a group, when available.

We engage our community in participatory events, educational projects and services to create a more resilient town, to promote sustainable development and reduce GHG emissions. We build a local movement towards a fair and just transition. Our main themes include: cohesive and resilient community; local environment; food systems; wellbeing; local economy; energy; housing; transport; arts; waste.

The provision of transport facilities for the elderly, disabled, poor, mothers with young children or people living in isolated areas where there are no adequate public transport facilities.

We are a pre-school open for breakfast club main session and lunh time club main session then after school club.

Uplyme Pre-school is a community based group that provides day care and pre-school education for children aged two to five, term time only. We are a registered charity, managed by a parent committee and governed by Ofsted.

Church and charitable work including Sunday Worship; pastoral care; youth and children's activities; evangelistic and outreach work; and involvement in the local community.

It provides housing and accomodation and Grants for education to young people, the elderly and people with diabilities who live in the area.

To benefit the residents of the Newcourt district of Exeter, Devon and its neighbourhood by:* communicating local information, gathering and considering residents' ideas and opinions;* designing, managing and promoting local community activities* consulting and liaising with local authorities and other relevant parties* managing the Newcourt Community Centre

Providing accessible community transport for Totnes and its surrounding villages, through scheduled bus routes, regular travel club excursions, and hire to community groups. We aim to make our services friendly and accessible for all residents and visitors, and especially passengers of limited mobility, the elderly, and anyone without access to their own vehicle.

Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust: Research Engage Communicate Conserve. CSGRT gives seals a voice! CSGRT monitors and identifies seals in SW England using each seal's unique fur pattern and long term photo identification enables a picture to be built up about their lives. Research provides a foundation to inform the effective conservation of seals at the southernmost limit of their range.

A well equipped community hall with entertainment and alchol license. Regular groups include skittles, short mat bowls ,history group, pantomime group, WI, and meeting place for Parish Council and other committees.Regular use also by local primary school.A venue also for family celebrations eg weddings and parties.Exhibitions and workshops are regularly held.

To establish and maintain a Community Centre for the inhabitants of the Parish of Bideford and to promote the centre for their benefit by providing facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation
