Dartmoor Search & Rescue Team (Tavistock) provide search & rescue services for the Police and Ambulance services for Dartmoor and the surrounding rural area. The team searches for and recovers missing persons of all ages and circumstances, such as youth groups, the elderly, despondents and those with dementia, and provides first aid and rescue cover for Ten Tors and similar events.

Uplyme Pre-school is a community based group that provides day care and pre-school education for children aged two to five, term time only. We are a registered charity, managed by a parent committee and governed by Ofsted.

Moorland Community Care Group seeks to provide companionship and support to those living within the localities of Bovey Tracey, Ashburton and Buckfastleigh, who are vulnerable because of problems such as age, social isolation and infirmity. The support includes tasks such shopping, dog-walking, collecting prescriptions, taking clients on outings, etc.

We are a parent led, non-profit making, community group providing high quality care and education for children under statutory school age by delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage as laid down by the Department for Education.

The charity relies on donations in order to carry out its main objective, which is to provide a lifeboat for the protection of the general public. The charity also carries out fundraising events and sells clothing in order to raise additional funds.

Trust exists to provide for Christians to make charitable gifts to Christians and Christian causes in a tax efficient way. Income is derived by Gift Aid donations and the Tax reclaimed from these gifts . Gifts are distributred to beneficiaries according to the donor's instructions.

The Charity's object and it's principal activity continues to be that of the promotion of any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the United Kingdom by the advancement of education, the protection of health and relief of poverty, sickness and distress.

The monies received are used to maintain the fabric of buildings and establishments in Dartmouth currently owned by the Town Council.

The main aim is to promote sailing, making it accessible to all. Students follow the RYA syllabus to gain certification. Bursaries available for local students upon application. First Aid, Power Boat & Safety Boat courses held. Several local young students progress through the Sea School to become RYA qualified Instructors going on to train others.

BASIC CHRISTIANITY, PARENTING COURSES AND SESSIONS FOR VULNERABLE FAMILIES)WEDDINGS, FUNERALS, ADULT BAPTISM AND DEDICATION SERVICES.AIDING CHRISTIAN ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS AT HOME AND ABROAD.

- Collect donated furniture and electrical items and supply it to people on low incomes who are referred by social and other support workers.- Refurbish and repair furniture as necessary.- Promote and contribute to Exeter's recycling strategy by keeping furniture out of local landfill sites.- Provide practical work experience for the long-term unemployed volunteers manning the charity.

Established in response to widespread concern about the viability and long-term survival of the traditional Dartmoor Heritage pony on Dartmoor. We provide: direct grants to breeders and keepers, grazing on Bellever, organisation of multi-year scientific studies, educational walks and talks on Heritage Ponies, advocacy for Heritage Ponies breeders. In addition we promote sale of Heritage Ponies.

Alongside selling Christian books, we run a cafe in which we offer a relaxed welcoming atmosphere where customers can talk together and with our staff and volunteers, some of whom have additional needs. We seek to support the elderly, disabled, vulnerable and homeless. We welcome secondary school pupils for work experience. Profits make grants to children and young peoples' organisations.
