Simmons Homes is an Almshouse charity which has 13 properties in Okehampton, Devon. The properties are let to people who live in Okehampton or Okehampton Hamlets.

Pregnancy Crisis Care exists to offer free, confidential counselling and support to those facing any pregnancy-related crises, at any age/stage. This includes impartial pregnancy-choices counselling, counselling for difficulties after abortion, counselling for baby loss, and support within pregnancy . These services are offered 1:1 to women (and their partners), or in a group, when available.

The activities may include but are not restricted to: regular public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching, teaching; baptism; communion of the Lord's Supper; evangelism and mission; inclusion of young people; nurture of Christian disciples; training for Christian community service; pastoral care; charitable social action in the UK and abroad; supporting Baptists and other Christians.

The Society did not hold a Show in 2020 due to Covid-19

Provide Devon uses surplus food (supplemented by purchased fresh produce) donated by businesses and homes by redirecting it to those in financial need, without judgement or discrimination. Support to disadvantaged or marginalised individuals and families is given, meeting the basic requirements of clients in a one off crisis food hamper.

The Charity runs a pre-school for 2-5 year olds living in the Halwill Junction area, open 30hrs per week Monday to Friday term time, providing quality childcare and education following the Statutory Framework for EYFS. Eligible children can claim Government funding (2yr targeted; universal entitlement & working entitlement). We also offer unfunded places.

Kennford Playbox is a rural preschool on the outskirts of Exeter. Operating from a purpose built facility, the preschool creates a happy, safe, supportive and stimulating environment for all 2-4 year olds that attend. Inspected by Ofsted in 2019 and rated overall as 'Outstanding' in the welfare, behaviour and development of its children.

The use and enjoyment by the inhabitants of Buckfastleigh and neighbourhood and the public generally of the Trust premises for the purpose of recreation and health.
