The village hall is used for various activities including use by the school for PE purposes and as an after school recreational school club. Other activities are as follows; short mat bowls club, arts and crafts club, badminton club, as well as the flower show, history society and the MerryMakers ( a group of villagers putting on events for the village). We also have film nights.

A social club for adults with disabilites many of whom also have physical disabilites. SERV Wessex provides a free out of hours transportation service for NHS Hospitals in the Wessex area, 365 days per year, between 19:00 and 06:00 weekday evenings and 24hrs a day at weekends and on public holidays. SERV Wessex transports blood products and other urgent consignments allowing hospitals to divert financial and staff resources elsewhere.

For the advancement of education in classical music by the provision of grants or bursaries toward the cost of public professional performances, training or education in music, the development, upkeep and maintenance of venues providing such performances in Exeter and it's surrounding districts

Baby Bank Network Exeter works to help alleviate child poverty in homes within a 30 mile radius of Exeter; to support families in need at times of financial and emotional stress.The organisation serves to bring together health care professionals, charities, local businesses and members of the public to address the relief of poverty at a local level.

The Chapel in the Garden, Bridport, is a Unitarian community established prior to 1662 that accepts members of all faiths or none.
