Ivybridge Youth For Christ works to take the Good News of Jesus Christ relevantly to all children and young people in Ivybridge and the surrounding area. The charity works in schools running christian clubs and assemblies, runs an outreach at a local park, runs a drop in youth club, helps church/runs youth groups, mentors young Christians and raises awareness of social justice issues.

Responsible for maintaining and letting 5 almshouses in the Devon village of Broadclyst on the outskirts of Exeter.

Pre school playgroup

We provide childcare for children age 1-5 years old, via government or private funding.

To establish and maintain a Community Centre for the inhabitants of the Parish of Bideford and to promote the centre for their benefit by providing facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation

To relieve sickness and preserve health and complement the medical services provided amongst persons permanently or temporarily resident in the parishes of Ashton, Bridford, Christow, Doddiscombsleigh, Dunsford and Tedburn St Mary, all in the County of Devon.

Providing facilities for Islamic religious activities in Torbay. Providing education on Islam to local schools and other groups.

The Trust: (a) Makes grants for conservation/heritage/training purposes, mainly in Devon and exceptionally elsewhere. (b) Has links with the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.

Trustees support education costs for hugely disadvantaged children from the 'slums' of Bangalore, India, the costs of University education for a gifted Ghanaian also a UK volunteer working amongst rural Gipsies in Romania who are rejected by many. Trustees also address other needs, both overseas and in the UK, as and when they present themselves.

We promote community participation in the sport of hockey through our coaching programme and involvement in competitions for all age groups and abilities.

The stated objects of the Trust are: "the promotion and advancement of Christian religion and the worship of God and the spreading of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ"

Fleecehaven promotes humane behaviour towards animals, in particular sheep, by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals which are in need of care, and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill treatment. It also educates the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.

A Summary of the main activities include; Developing and running activities, events, programmes and coaching sessions that have been available to hard to reach group such as: disengaged pupils at local secondary schools, deprived areas, young people with learning disabilities and inactive groups.

WE WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DEVON & SOMERSET FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE / LOCAL COMMUNITES ON COMMUNITY SAFETY. OUR WORK INCLUDES, FIRE PREVENTION, ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR E.G FIRESETTING, COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AND SAFE DRIVING. WE PROVIDE ADVICE AND EXPERTISE, MAKE GRANTS TO LOCAL GROUPS IN NEED, RAISE FUNDING, ASSIST OTHER GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDING AND HELP TRAIN AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHERS.

The Chudleigh Community Project's objectives are to provide community facilities within the Parish of Chudleigh through managing the dual use of the community/school hall out of school hours and managing the outdoor community swimming pool. The Chudleigh Community Project also promotes the Devon based 'Villages in Action' arts and drama events throughout the year.

To honour the charity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by works of mercy, spiritual and temporal, the poor, the sick, prisoners, orphans, aged and infirm persons or persons in any other need. This includes the provision of a private registered nursing home.
