Trustees support education costs for hugely disadvantaged children from the 'slums' of Bangalore, India, the costs of University education for a gifted Ghanaian also a UK volunteer working amongst rural Gipsies in Romania who are rejected by many. Trustees also address other needs, both overseas and in the UK, as and when they present themselves.

The charity object is the advancement of the education of persons studying agriculture, horticulture, arboriculture and allied trades by means of the establishment and administration of City and Guilds Land Based Services approved proficiency test centres for the purpose of assessing the skills of such students.

Fleecehaven promotes humane behaviour towards animals, in particular sheep, by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals which are in need of care, and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill treatment. It also educates the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.

Offering a hall for public hire as well as providing rooms for hire for other local organisations to deliver local services to the community eg rural transport, services for the elderly.

The Chudleigh Community Project's objectives are to provide community facilities within the Parish of Chudleigh through managing the dual use of the community/school hall out of school hours and managing the outdoor community swimming pool. The Chudleigh Community Project also promotes the Devon based 'Villages in Action' arts and drama events throughout the year.

To honour the charity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by works of mercy, spiritual and temporal, the poor, the sick, prisoners, orphans, aged and infirm persons or persons in any other need. This includes the provision of a private registered nursing home.

Gittisham hall is hired out for various public events: Weddings, parties, folk dance club & meetings by various groups. As a charity we hold social events for surrounding areas such as Gittisham, Gittisham Vale & Honiton. Holding Pantomime, season events such as Burns Night, Fete's. These events are attended by various ages. The hall is our main place to gather in our village.

The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage within the area of interest.Such charitable purposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales as the trustees may from time to time determine.

To relieve food poverty in our area (PL21,TQ10) by mainly providing food parcels. To help relieve financial hardship by signposting to relevant organisations. Also to work with other charities with similar objectives.

Religious services following the practices of Orthodox Jewry.Reception of adults and schools of all faiths or none to the Synagogue for the purpose of seeing the historic II* listed building and hearing about Jews and Judaism

To provide a musical education for the young, in particular, orchestral training for music students and young professionals.

Stokenham Pre-School Centre, established in 1972, with experienced staff and high adult/child ratio, offers a safe, exciting environment for children age 2-5 yrs in their own premises within the grounds of Stokenham Primary School. They are open all day from 9.15am to 3.30 pm during school term times. Happy Feet Parent/Carers Toddlers, is open Friday 10am to 12 noon.

Sid Valley Help aims to: - provide a signposting service to health and social care support services and organisations - build a network of local health and social care support organisations - develop the network by arranging training and networking events for members of the organisations - identify gaps in local non-statutory health and care support services and help to fill them.

The advancement of the Christian Religion by the proclamation and furtherance of the Gospel of God concerning his Son Jesus Christ the Lord and the preaching and teaching of the Word of God by the Church in accordance with the Statement of Fundamental Truths of Assemblies of God in Great Britain and Ireland as approved by the General Council.

We enjoy worshipping God together, Bible study, being active and serving the community, as well as sharing together as God works in the lives of his people and especially those thinking about the Christian faith for the first time. The church is active in running our own project, The ARK. This facility is used twice weekly as a drop-in coffee shop/cafe and is used frequently for youth projects.

Through our partners, we offer help, advice, training and support to voluntary and community sector groups across Devon and support the engagement of the sector in having a powerful voice.
