THE OBJECTS OF TCAT ARE: TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN THE COMMUNITY THEATRE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE WIDERLOCAL COMMUNITY THAT IS ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE TO ALL. ASSIST THE ADVANCEMENT AND PROMOTIONOF HIGH QUALITY ART, MUSIC AND DRAMA IN THE TIVERTON AND MID-DEVON AREA.

The purpose of Home-Start Teignbridge is:1) To safeguard, protect and preserve the good health, both mental and physical of children and their parents2) To prevent cruelty to or maltreatment of children3) To relieve sickness, poverty and need amongst children and parents of children4) To promote the education of the public in better standards of child care within the area of Teignbridge.

The charity operates a village hall on behalf of the local community and is available to be used by members of the community, aged 18 years or over, for all days of the week between 7am and 11.00pmThe village hall is primarily used for local community events, activities, meetings and social gatherings. It is also also available for private hire by members of the local community.

Religious services following the practices of Orthodox Jewry.Reception of adults and schools of all faiths or none to the Synagogue for the purpose of seeing the historic II* listed building and hearing about Jews and Judaism

The provision of financial assistance for students and former students of King Edward VI Community College, Totnes, Devon (KEVICC) to help them to undertake higher or further education at other academic institutions after finishing their studies at KEVICC and who are considered by the Trustees to be financially disadvantaged.

Stokenham Pre-School Centre, established in 1972, with experienced staff and high adult/child ratio, offers a safe, exciting environment for children age 2-5 yrs in their own premises within the grounds of Stokenham Primary School. They are open all day from 9.15am to 3.30 pm during school term times. Happy Feet Parent/Carers Toddlers, is open Friday 10am to 12 noon.

USE OF INVESTMENT INCOME FOR ADVANCEMENT OF GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SOCIETY'S OBJECTIVES; IE TO PROMOTE AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE AND ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THOSE AREAS.

Production and performance of stage musicals and concerts.

The charity serves the residents of Calstock parish by providing door to door transport, wherever possible, for shopping, social & recreational purposes.

The advancement of education and the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the benefit of the inhabitants of West Hill, Ottery St Mary, Devon and the neighbourhood.

The hall provides facilities for use by: a Stay and Play playgroup, Young Explorers, Holbeton Primary School, the parish council, senior citizens lunch & social club, Holbeton drama group, aerobics, yoga, garden society, twinning association, film club,guitar lessons, private parties and is also used as a polling station. Our licence allows us to show films for public viewing.

Activities include: Providing opportunities for Christian worship and prayer, the advancement of the Christian faith, pastoral care, providing help and services to the local community

we support the upkeep of the parish church St.Luke's and the ruin Holy Trinity and the churchyard and support local activities

The Charity's objects are to educate the public in the art of music in all its aspects by the presentation of professional public concerts, talks, workshops and masterclasses. Concerts in the West also aims to support young, highly trained, professional musicians early in their careers. Eight to ten mini-tours are organised each year for musicians to perform in venues in the West Country.
