The object of the charity is to help promote the welfare of state registered blind people within the South Devon and Cornwall area. This is done mainly by providing grants to help them purchase educational equipment and living aids.

The promotion, development and maintenance of public education in, and the appreciation of the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and by such other ways as the Orchestra, through its Committee, shall determine from time to time.

To fundraise for Pathfield School and to arrange social events for school and parents

Pre-School Playgroup providing education and care for children aged 2-5.

To advance the Christian Faith for the public benefit, primarily but not exclusively for children and young people, by the provision of camps and residential breaks in accordance with a Christian ethos.

Provision of building for meetings, social events and activities for the benefit of residents and visitors.

Heritage Museum

The Charity's aim is to provide a Christian presence in Tavistock College and Kelly College by employing a Christian Youth worker to work within the colleges and be a link to local Churches of all denominations and primary schools in the area.

The object[s] of the CIO are to provide and maintain the Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Buckland Monachorum, without distinction of political, religious or other opinion, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for those inhabitants.

The advancement of education, and in particular the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work, by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development, in Sidmouth and its surrounding locality.

YMCA Centres (South Molton) operates a community centre providing youth services and a wide range support to the local community. Prior to opening our Community Centre in 2015, we were formally South Molton and District YMCA (Registered charity 300097).

The Deepway Centre is a hall used by the surrounding community and clubs.

Olive Bearers aims to support worldwide projects for the relief of human suffering without discrimination through the advancement of the Christian faith. It operates in U.K. and also communicates via website www.olivebearers.org.uk

We provide facilities for people with intellectual disabilities in Plymouth, east Cornwall and west Devon to engage in sporting activities and competitions at all skill levels and socialise in a place of safety where they are respected, safeguarded and coached in their selected sports. We operate a weekly sports club at Plymouth YMCA with whom we have an operational partnership.

NB4U befriend 'lifer' Prisoners in local prisons. The Co-Founders and volunteers visit 10 prisoners every month We accompany them on ROTL's and Home Leaves. We attend Parole Hearings and on release meet them 'at the gate' and take them to their Hostels providing essential items. Our motto is 'Befriending Prisoners, mentoring Ex-Offenders so they NEVER re-offend again' and it works!

The charity provides advice, consultancy, support and assistance to adults with learning difficulties and liaises with and encourage cooperation between local authorities, government departments and local education authorities. It strives to increase public awareness of a commitment to the support of adults with such learning difficulties.

Hiring of the Hall for various functions - Fund RaisingVarious local organisations use the hall - ie Young Farmers, Nursery, Bowling but to name a few

Manage and maintain Kingdon House Community Association for the benefit of all the residents of Tavistock and District

Maintain and manage Silverton Community Hall as a resource for the benefit of local residents and user groups.

Running a Community building on edge of Dartmoor in the South Hams. Large main hall with full stage facilities, lighting and sound and loop system, side hall which can be used as a bar(licence available) excellent kitchen and committee room, full toilet facilities,all on ground floor. Upstairs meeting room (lift access) with small kitchen. Sports and all kinds of functions catered for.

A second hall was built in 2007 - access for disabled was improved. Play area been re located to a safer sight. Educational , fitness and hobbies groups provide varied classes for locals, the committee have funds for improvements and accommodation has been virtually doubled. Holcombe is a very popular venue between Exeter and Torbay.
