The main activity is to manage our funds in order to provide an income which can be used to assist the school for the benefit of the pupils. The charity owns the freehold land and buildings used by the school.

Community Bus

Relieve social isolation and loneliness of people with a dementia and their carers in Tavistock and the surrounding area by providing social activities to meet their needs. Increase awareness/understanding of dementia in Tavistock and the surrounding area by providing free training to businesses and social groups. Work in association with other charities and groups to provide dementia support.

HELPS IN THE PROVISION OF TRAINING, EVENT ORGANISATION, EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES FOR WATER BASED SPORTS PARTICULARLY SAILING BASED ON THE RIVER DART FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. MAY PROVIDE GRANTS TO LOCAL YOUNG PEOPLE FOR SAIL RELATED TRAINING IN S. DEVON

Provides funds for the upkeep of Malborough Parish Church and to provide benefits to persons living in the Ancient Parish of Malborough.

TO PROVIDE A COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICE TO INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED COMPLICATED GRIEF ISSUES AS A RESULT OF TRAUMATIC LOSS AND/OR BEREAVEMENT.

The objects of the CIO are to establish and run a village hall and to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Lee, in the county of Devon.

The hall has accommodated a number of organisations on a regular basis (eg. pre-school, judo, WI, Tremletts Social Club) and others on a weekly, monthly or irregular basis. All groups benefit from the use of the hall for leisure and educational purposes. The hall has been maintained to a high standard with further work envisaged in the future. Provision of facilities for the sport of rowing and sailing to enable people to learn how to row, scull and sail and to practise these skills. I addition to run an annual 9 day Regatta with 120 separate events on the water and onshore at Shaldon.

A grant making charity with awards not exceeding ·5000 to Christian and humanitarian registered charities generally confined to the eastern part of Devon or ocassionally national charities for specific work in East Devon only.

To advance Christianity in accordance with the Statement of Doctrine set out in a schedule to the declaration of trust. To relieve poverty and those who are in need. To advance education within the principles of the Christian faith.

We offer pilot gig rowing in Ilfracombe, North Devon.

PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL AND PLAYING FIELD FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF PLYMTREE AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURETIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

The Charity exists to support the District Commissioner in meeting his responsibilities and is responsible for the maintenance of District property, raising funds and the administration of District finance, insurance of persons, property and equipment, District public occasions, assisting in the recruitment of leaders and other adult support and appointing any sub committees required

We hold an annual, professionally adjudicated, dance festival for children and young people. The festival is open to dance schools within a 70 mile radius of Weymouth.

Sing Out Bristol is an open, diverse choir including LGBTQIA plus people, whose mission is to enrich lives through community connection, music and song.The charity functions as a community choir performing at concerts, charitable and other events for the benefit and enjoyment of the community and the general public.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for playing hockey

The PTFA subsidises school trips and activities for pupils who under privileged. It also raises funds to buy equipment ie computers, that would not normally come out of the school budget or supplement the equipment already in school.

To promote the education and development of young people living within Devon by facilitating and encouraging communication with visiting and understanding people of other countries and cultures

To promote to the benefit of the inhabitants of Clearbrook, Devon and the surrounding area, without the distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions - by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure.

We are a voluntary Parent & Teacher Association supporting St Leonards C of E Primary School's educational objectives. Our fundraising activities at the school include summer & Christmas fairs, parents quiz night, cake sales & school discos. Funds raised provided for example a 31 unit IT suite (completed in November 2018), upgrading of the play areas, and other educational purposes.

The charity manages the village hall, a recreation ground which includes a large play area for children and a sports field used by local football and cricket teams. The hall has a stage and lighting and is used by activity groups of all ages.

Dawlish Warren Life Saving Club provides volunteer lifeguards on Dawlish Warren every Sunday & Bank Holiday throughout the summer season.
