THE PROVISION OF POSITIVE ACTIVITIES FOR RURAL YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 10 TO 28

We run activity groups for our members. We are affiliated to the Third Age Trust and run the Saltash u3a. All our activity groups,over 30, are run solely by volunteers for our members

Conserving and improving the town's unique historic buildings' heritage.Conserving, improving and creating useful and beautiful public spaces within the town.Acting on any other public realm matters which complement and enhance the town?s buildings and spaces, and the enjoyment of them by local people and visitors.

The charity objectives are the continued development of a community center, namely Jasmyn House in Paignton, providing the relief, recreation, instruction for the general welfare of the disabled and handicapped in the Borough of Torbay within the County of Devon. Developing the establishment and promotion of the community center, with all the necessary facilities for the disabled and handicapped.

Citizenship Training of young people of both sexes, up to the age of 20 years old, including adventure training, as well as stimulating an interest in aviation.

Providing a community transport service for frail, elderly and disabled people in the Culm Valley area (Devon) by taking them to hospital, doctors surgeries and to other medical appointments by volunteers using their own cars.

Educational Grants to pupils of Tavistock College

Management of a community hall for use by local groups.

DTCP offers up to two years of therapy or counselling on a once a week basis to those people living within travelling distance of Dorchester who cannot afford a private fee.

The Company's objectives are to hold, manage, maintain, repair, service and administer the Meldon Viaduct, situated at Okehampton, Devon.

To manage the local community hall for the benefit of the residents of Chardstock Parish without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

The hall is for the use of the inhabitants of St. Giles-On-The-Heath and the surrounding area, for meetings and leisure activities.

Our activities are in accordance with those set out by the Scout Association

We provide a warm welcoming space for a multitude of different village groups, clubs and charities to use, to run their various activities, as well as accommodating the local pre school and providing an indoor area for the primary school who do not have a school hall.
