Choral Society

Run Chudleigh Knighton Village Hall as a community building for the use of the villagers of Chudleigh Knighton and other organisations who provide services for the community. It is hired out to clubs and organisations as well as individualsfor private functions. It is used by an outreach Post Office twice a week. There is a snooker room with a full sized table which is hired out.

Provision of accomodation for community purposes.

To improve the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the area by the provision of a village hall for use by the inhabitants, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation.

Torbay Bikers For Kids raise funds to purchase essential items that help improve the lives and/or education of children who are disabled or severely ill, living in Torbay and the surrounding area.

RHWS aims to relieve the needs of people in the South WSest with drug & alcohol dependency problems or who are homeless, single parents, families or elderly, by promoting good health; help with finding housing; and recreational facilities to help improve living conditions. As a Christian Charity we want to show the love of Jesus to everyone, to bring hope and rebuild damaged lives.

The hall is used by local organisations, clubs, groups and private hire.

We maintain a healthy membership upwards of 60 attending Wednesday evenings. The Corona Virus has forced us to replace face to face rehearsals with Zoom meetings, and all concerts have been cancelled. We have had small numbers of personnel at our hall when lockdown restrictions permitted. We continue to support our venue and our musicians to maintain relationships for the future.
