The promotion of the education of people in the district of Tiverton, Devon, who are resident and are attending or have attended a maintained school or college within the area of benefit. This can include social, physical or vocational training and the Trustees may also apply it in the provision of items, services and facilities for any maintained school in the area.

Rotary Club - non-political, humanitarian organisation.

The principal object of the Trust is the advancement of the Christian faith. This object may be fulfilled [but not necessarily exclusively so] by providing care and comfort of elderly or disabled people especially such as belong to the "Household of Faith" (Gal.6:10) including providing a home for them. The Trust may also engage in other charitable activities.

To promote for the inhabitants of West Devon and surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure- time occupation. The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, for the benefit of the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

The committee held a range of fund raising events during the year which included a quiz night, a ball, grand draws and a Christmas Fayre, and music evening. We also take a supportive role at the college helping out at events if required.

The purpose which the charity was founded was for the relief of patients suffering from disease or malformation affecting the spine and adjacent areas of the body.

Local Scout Group

Shaldon Singers performs two concerts each year, one in May and the other in December, in St. Peter's Church, Shaldon, Teignmouth, Devon.Rehearsals for these events are held weekly, in termtime, in the church.

CURRENTLY OFFERING FREE MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS TRAINING, A WEEKLY' DROP IN' SESSION AND ONLINE TEXT SUPPORT.

We are a community village hall, providing facilities for sport, cultural, social, education and leisure activities, open to all people. The hall has been in continuous use for over 50 years to the growing village of 2800 population(approx)., situation between Newton Abbot and Teignmouth on the Teign Estuary.This current year we have had the interior ofthe hall decorated.

The Trust raises funds to enable publicly important heritage restoration and conservation works to take place in the town of Totnes, Devon, as well as promoting the development of heritage community engagement projects, within the town. The first, and primary, project of the Trust is the restoration and development of St. Mary's Parish Church and its surrounding churchyard.

The transportation of residents of the RAME peninsula to various destinations in Cornwall and Devon, carrying many disabled people to their various clubs in the area including Saltash. We also provide transport for special excursions for elderly people organised by CHAT.

The charity provides financial assistance and relief to those in need within the Ancient Parish of Otterton who are in need, hardship or distress. Examples of help given include payment of essential bills, supply of logs and heating, help for children at Christmas and other essential expenses.

Provision and maintenance of Community Hall for the Civil Parish of Burlescombe

The charity is a member-led organisation for retired and semi-retired people living in Teignmouth and District. It offers opportunities to meet regularly to share experiences, knowledge, philosophies, values and ideas.

We provide a wide range of study group activities for our members who range from 55+.
