The village hall is used by local inhabitants for various activities such as Lunches, Coffee mornings, Meetings, Garden club, Pilates, Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Dances, Discos, Quizzes, Short Mat Bowls, some church services. The hall has a Alcohol licence used for certain events. The car park and adjacent field is also used for summer fund raising activities.It is a meeting place for the community.

Building a Community, not just a Community Building. Beregen aims to regenerate the community of Bere Alston and maximise its potential. We manage the Parish Hall and provide an "at cost" space for a village pre-school. We also provide a full time Youth Worker and Support Worker, job club, computer club for over 55s and are looking to expand our community support services.

Parish Hall, which can be used for any suitable activity - i.e dances, badminton, meetings, clubs/groups.

Tavistock Memory Cafe is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation based in Tavistock, Devon. The Cafe provides a range of activities for those living with dementia and offers sessions where carers can obtain support, advice and information. We are grateful for our excellent volunteers and we're always pleased to hear from more! We support other local Dementia Friendly initiatives.

The Society promotes Christian Science in such ways as are strictly in accordance with the teachings and practice of Christian Science as set forth in Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and the Manual of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, USA. Its main activities are church services and Reading Room open to the public at 115 Boutport Street, Barnstaple.

The charity supports and promotes the performance of live music of all sorts in all sorts of places and by all sorts of people, professional and amateur alike. One of its key activities is organising small scale concerts by professional musicians in local primary schools, at no cost to the schools. It organises a local music festival and a series of approximately monthly concerts.

Hakuna Matata Animal Trust is an animal sanctuary based in South Devon.We focus on the care and protection of animals and provide a permanent residence where they will live out their lives here at the sanctuary. We also find permanent homes for our smaller, younger rescues. We participate in and help to fund animal rescue missions for animals that would otherwise be euthanized or slaughtered.

Friends of Holsworthy Primary School - fundraising to raise funds to help support Holsworthy Church of England Primary School and ato support enrichment and extra curricular activities for the children at Holsworthy Church of England Primary School

The Society's New Series publications cover aspects of Westcountry political, social, religious, economic and maritime history. The Society publishes an annual volume which is sent to members on publication. Non-members may also purchase volumes. The Society's Collection of source material, mainly transcriptions of parish registers, is held at the Devon Heritage Centre for public use.

We are a primary school parent, teacher and friends association, raising money to provide facilities and equipment for the school.

PROVISION AND MAINTAINENCE OF PARISH HALL BUILDING

Fund raising to provide extra equipment and resources for the school. Events include a Christmas Fayre, an spring event, a summer event generally with barbecue and drinks, Christmas and summer draws.

The Exmoor Community Youth Club provides a safe environment for children from 6 -18 to meet, socialise and play. A friday night youth club is supplemented during all the holidays with extra activities and trips.

Friend's of Hayward's School (PTA) raise money in order to provide resources and support for the school and its activities.We organise a varied programme of social and fund raising events, from school disco's, quizes, raffles and fetes which strengthen links both within the school and the wider community.
