Estuary League of Friends has been supporting the community since 1987 and are based in Topsham Devon, serving the local area. Our aim is to work to improve the quality of life of those in need of care, comfort and support in our community. We support those who have been disadvantaged, through terminal illnesses, disablement, as well as the elderly, frail, and those with debilitating illnesses.

Citizens Advice South Hams is a registered charity and offers FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, INDEPENDENT and IMPARTIAL advice on a wide range of issues, including: Benefits: Consumer: Debts: Employment and Housing.

Provision and maintenance of a swimming pool for the benefit of inhabitants of Axe Valley and its neighbourhood who are in need thereof by reason of their social circumstances or youth, sickness or old age.

The objects of the CIO are the conservation, preservation, protection and enhancement of the landscape, antiquities flora and fauna, natural beauty, cultural heritage and the scientific merit of Dartmoor for the public benefit.

Our activities are centred around adults with learning disabilities we supply support and training focusing on independence skills, social skills, independent living and employment tools.

The charity provides free advice to the general public on a range of issues, including debt and money, benefit and tax credits, housing, family issues and consumer advice. Largely, those benefiting from our services are those most in need, particularly those in financial hardship.

CIRCLES SOUTH WEST IS A COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMME WHICH WORKS CLOSELY WITH STATUTORY SERVICES, HELPING KNOWN SEX OFFENDERS LIVE OFFENCE-FREE LIVES.

To provide community transport services for inhabitants of Mid and North Devon and its neighbourhood who are in need of such a service because of age, sickness or disability, or poverty or because of lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

Public worship open to all. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work including visiting the sick lonely and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons courses and small groups. Promoting the whole mission of the Church through activities for senior citizens parents and toddlers and other special needs groups. Support for UK and overseas charities

Outdoor Education using both water and land based activities. Sessions aim to encourage independence and personal development, as well as teaching how to work as part of a teamActivities are available to all ages and abilities and as part of our public benefit work we discount sessions/residential visits to those that would otherwise would find it difficult to afford to experience them..

Our aim is to offer help and assistance to elderly, disabled and vulnerable people of the 2 Doctors surgeries in Totnes and surrounding parishes to enable them to live in their own homes and receive a level of support which will help them remain independent and not be isolated from the community.We provide services such health related transport, befriending, shopping, home help and form filling.

The operation of an arts and development centre for the benefit of the public. The centre is located in Teignmouth, Devon.

Activities include building the local church to become "Communities within communities serving throughout the city"; training, equipping and sending out church planters and workers; running Alpha courses; work with students (local and international); local mother and toddler group; work with local youth.

Learn to Live provides specialist day care provision for young adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs. Our aim is to increase independence by offering a range of activities and life skills training.

Dartmouth United Charities provides almshouse accommodation to poor persons of good character, who have lived in Dartmouth for two years before their appointment, or in exceptional circumstances, live outside the area but are otherwise qualified.It also makes grants to individuals and to organisations supporting Dartmouth residents who are in need, hardship or distress.

The charity aims to encourage and enhance the development and education of children primarily under school age.

TTVS is a council for voluntary service, incorporating Torridge Volunteer Centre and providing infrastructure support for the voluntary and community sector/for volunteering. TTVS delivers direct services to the communities of Torridge and North Devon via projects developed in response to unmet need such as services to support carers, young carers and older people.

North Devon Voluntary Services is the Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) and Volunteer Centre (VC) for North Devon. We are an infrastructure organisation providing services to support development and capacity building within voluntary and community groups and assist with the recruitment and placement of volunteers.
