Provision of relief from homelessness

The PCC of St George and St Paul has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent in promoting thewhole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.The PCC is responsible for the financial management of the Church, the care andmaintenance of the Church fabric and the care and maintenance of the churchyard.

STUDENTS SERVE IN THE COMMUNITY IN VARIOUS WAYS INCLUDING PRISON VISITING.

Health and drug prevention education to children (up to the age of 13) through a series of educational programmes delivered by trained Educators.

LandWorks is a ground-breaking resettlement charity working with those in prison, or at risk of going to prison. Using the structure of a working day to teach transferable skills and work intensively on a 1-2-1 basis, we help them develop a crime-free identity, move away from offending and back into jobs and the community. We have proven we can break the crime-prison-release-prison cycle.

ELF aims to lighten the load by supporting families affected by blood cancers and blood disorders across the South West.ELF provides transport, a counselling service, accommodation, complementary therapies, a CAB-funded advice and guidance service, legal services through partnership and refreshments for patients and relatives awaiting day case appointments.

We raise awareness of all the pants area cancers and support people with these cancers. Based in Cornwall most of our work takes place here, but our website is internationally accessed

VCHP provide free eyecare services to homeless and other vulnerable people in UK in an accessible and friendly environment in which they feel safe, welcome and comfortable. We aim to preserve, protect and promote the ocular health of homeless and other vulnerable people in the UK and include the provision of spectacles that meets their immediate visual needs.

To preserve for the benefit of the people of the Rame Peninsula whatever of the historial architecture and constructional heritage that may exist in and around the Rame Peninsula

Parish Church

The charity aims to encourage and enhance the development and education of children primarily under school age.

To provide the facilities of a community centre, including library and cafe in order to promote the advancement of educaton in the performing arts in all forms including film, music, theatre and talks.

We run an open access Community Centre from which we base charitable services to the community. We directly provide lettable rooms, a community library, a community resource centre and a community archive. We host the Post Office, South Brent and District Caring, Art House, The South Brent Community Fitness centre, Moortrees and a wide range of other groups and organisations.

The trustees follow a general policy of distributing the trust's income whilst maintaining the substance of the trust's investments to enlarge its grant-giving potential.

Family Compass provides therapeutic mental health support to children, young people and families.

The main activities are Christian worship for all ages, and activities which include Parent & Toddler groups, youth groups, retired groups, parenting courses, sessions for vulnerable families and English classes for ethnic minorities. The church also trains and encourages members to become involved in the propagation of the christian faith both locally and internationally.

To improve standard of agriculture & horticulture in West Dorset and surrounding area by promoting improvement in breeding of livestock, promotion and organisation of agricultural show, ploughing matches and other competitions associated with agriculture, promotion of West Dorset agriculture to the public. Religous and community work

The charity operates a village hall on behalf of the local community and is available to be used by members of the community, aged 18 years or over, for all days of the week between 7am and 11.00pmThe village hall is primarily used for local community events, activities, meetings and social gatherings. It is also also available for private hire by members of the local community.

The Norman Family Charitable Trust is a grant making charity. Grants are given at the Trustees' discretion to any charitable causes within the South West with preference for Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. No grants are given to charities which involve using live animals for research or experimental purposes, to overseas projects, or for the maintenance of buildings used for religious purposes.

Community Art Centre to advance education specifically but without limitation in the arts. Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation & advance such other purposes as are exclusively charitable by the management of a community centre for charitable activities promoted by the Charity.

To enable as many people as possible to worship at All Saints Church and become part of our community

Eating Disorder Support covers geographic areas in Plymouth and part of West Devon. We provide NICE guidelines psychotherapy and specialist dietetic advice for individuals suffering from an eating disorder. We also offer individual/group/ family therapy for clients and carers. EDS provides a 3-day intensive programme for those who are more at risk of deterioration to prevent in-patient admission.

Any charitable purpose relating to the NHS, also specifically of the Torbay and South Devon NHS area.To provide equipment and amenities, improve conditions for care and other benefits for the advancement of the health of patients and help make staff more effective in delivering healthcare
