Supporting the Parish Church of St Marys Abbotskerswell.

The building is primarily used by Ipplepen Pre-School and After-School Clubs. In the evenings the building is used by community groups, such as art group, musicians etc.

the charity raises money through activities and donations, and 100% of that money is paid to the designated recipient at the end of the Lord Mayor's year of office.

SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION, FUND RAISING

'Plymouth & West Devon Cassette talking Newspaper' creates and distributes audio cassettes of local or relevant news items on a weekly basis to blind folk in the Plymouth and West Devon Area. There are currently about 200 registered users of the service for which no charge is made.

The charity runs various fundraising activities throughout the year aimed at families and the local community, encouraging them to get involved with their local school, including a Christmas fair of local crafters, artists and businesses. Other activities include quiz nights, raffles, readathons, cake sales, festive wreath-making, eco-friendly events, bingo, story-telling & summer fetes.

SUPPORT THE SCHOOL IN FINANCIAL ACTIVITIES TO RAISE FUNDS

Administers Almshouses in East Street, Newton Abbot.

Grants to aid education for residents of Combe Martin.

Running the village hall for the benefit of local residents: for meetings, classes, leisure activities etc.

We support girls and women in poor areas of Kenya by providing reusable period pads and start up funding for pad making businesses. Our aim is to make a positive impact on girl's and women's health, education, gender inequality and also to support local businesses and communities.

Almshouse with two flats for the elderly or disadvantaged and an art studio

We look after the Hall and Committee Room for use by parishioners and other organisations . The Hall is used by various groups and individuals for meetings, parties, keep fit and other activities. The local Primary School also use the hall for PE lessons.
