Formed in 1999 the organisation includes a senior band, junior and beginner groups, with 3 current members being at the first rehearsal. To encourage new players and as part of our development policy, workshops are carried out in local schools and 'Music Cafes' are held . Our aim is to keep brass banding alive in the 21st century. 2019 will see the band celebrate its 20th Anniversary.

To promote, rehearse and perform light choral music for and in the community both locally to Doncaster and throughout the country.

The Charity has adopted a policy of using its resources almost exclusively to fund rehabilitation for alcoholics and addicts who have (a) been assessed as suitable for rehabilitation and (b) for whom no funding is available from any other sources and (exceptionally) to fund life saving or life changing surgery where the NHS would not assist

Muddy Fork helps people experiencing mental health challenges take back control of their lives through volunteer gardening & conservation in Bassetlaw (North Nottinghamshire) and surrounding areas.

The Sorby Natural History Society is the Natural History society for the Sheffield City region, providing education, research and publications, including biological and geological recording of wildlife, habitats, rocks and landscapes. Operates mostly in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and the Peak District.

Anglican Cursillo is a movement of the Church providing a method by which Christians are empowered to grow through prayer, study and action and enabled to share Gods love with everyone. We operate throughout the Diocese of Sheffield.

Whitwell Brass perform several public concerts each year in addition to competing in brass band competitions. The band also provides tuition to players of all ages.

Tosalisana C. C. S. is a non partisan organisation that seeks to support the self development and self advocacy of British African people in general, British Congolese and Congolese people in particular .

The main focus of activity is working with the community to address issues around areas of concern which include work, jobs and training; crime and community safety; the environment; community facilities and leisure; health and housing. EDDT provide practical Employment Support, Training and guidance to improve the quality of life for the most disadvantaged people in our society.

BOXING club provides excercise & a social environment for local children aged 9 to 40. childrens dance class offering the same but is open to ages 4 to 16, keep fit classes, Mother and toddler groups, Community group meetings plus various fund raising activities like Summer Fayres, Car Boot Sales held annually. Table top salesplus cheep events locations for wider community

In the Doncaster Metropolitan Borough area, to advance the musical education of young musicians attending or having recently attended schools within the administrative area of the council.

Church serving local community

the theatre in education company was formed in 1993 to provide a high quality, innovative educational theatre service. The company specialises in producing Cross Community Educational Theatre Programmes for disadvantaged and disaffected adults, young people and the professionals who work with them. The company changed its name on 15th March 2010 to Leeds Theatre in Education Company.

Managing the community resource centre for the people of Kilnhurst.

To advance the education of the students of The Ridge Employability College for the public benefit by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the College and advance the education of the students.

Fundraising for Rossington St Michaels School.Funds are raised by organising events such as school discos, pop-up shops, donut sales, summer fayre, movie nights. We meet regularly to organise these events and they are all completed at the school.Funds raised are spent within school by requests from teachers with regards to school clubs or from the Head teacher for school equipment.

Relieving or preventing financial hardship or suffering to any widow widower or dependent of a deceased person occasioned by the death as the direct result of an accidentto any person at any time employed at Lofthouse Colliery or at any other colliery in the area of the Yorkshire Coalfield.In

The Isle District Choral Society provides a service in a rural area for the continued improvement of a wide variety of both well known and contemporary composers. The society's aim is to encourage an appreciation of the arts through music. Rehearsals are held weekly throughout the school term and well attended concerts are performed for the general public at least three times per year.

To advance such charitable purposes [according to the law of England and Wales] as the trustees seem fit from time to time in particular but not limited to the advancement of health or relief of those in need [age, disability, ill-health, financial or other disability] or the saving of lives for the public benefit by raising funds and making grants to charities in England & Wales.

Sheep Dog Trials

Provision of assistance out of limited funds raised or donated by the members of the Rotary Club of Doncaster St Leger, to local charities or individuals who may from time to time request assistance. Generally in writing.
