Income from land and investments after the will of Robert Forster (1609) is used to relieve hardship in the areas of Stainforth and Hatfield, South Yorkshire. Grants are restricted to any persons either individually or as a group.

We provide a weekly meeting programme and operate the J.A. Jones Hoober Observatory where we run a Community Access Programme. We also undertake outreach visits to school and community groups.

The object of the band shall be to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of brass, percussion and wind music in all its aspects by the provision of training , practical advice & support including loan of musical instruments, the presentation of public concerts.

Misterton Bowls Club provides facilities for members to participate in the game of lawn bowls both competitively and for social and recreation purposes.Anyone can apply for membership, but the majority of our members tend to be retired people. For most of our members this is their main form of physical activity and means of social interaction.

General charity donations

Support people principally of ethnic minorities in South Yorkshire, particularly but not exclusively Chinese women & families to promote & improve well-being, interests of social welfare & Community inclusion through activities & collaborations. Activities include delivering interactive workshops for Chinese members, Interpretation & smartphone walk-in service, annual cultural celebrations & trip.

Our Friends Group works with our school, parents, pupils and the local community to put on a range of events and activities, from Fairs, Bingo Nights etc. These help to build the school community, break down barriers and help fundraise. We use our funds to purchase a range of goods and services that help advance the education of pupils at our school such sports and playground equipment.

Funding research projects into neurological science

Educating the public in the history and heritage of the inland waterways of Yorkshire by:- a) preserving vessels and artifacts which illustrate and explain the history and heritage of the waterways; b) providing the public with access to the waterways for the purpose of education; and c) undertaking research into the waterways and publishing the results for the public benefit.

This was another quiet operating year. Some income was generated for the core purpose of providing access to high quality outdoor education. The main income was a transfer of funds from a pre-existing similar body.
