ICA supports the residents and communities of Portland, Dorset to achieve maximum levels of mental, physical and social wellbeing. We do this through a range of activities, from services for older adults to learning and training opportunities for younger people. ICA represents the Island, and also provides support for other local groups and those wishing to volunteer or offer volunteer roles.

Tincleton Trees Trust is primarily concerned to eliminate invasive rhododendron ponticum (RP) from Clyffe Copse, Dorset thereby enabling biodiversity of flora and fauna to flourish. The Trust works to preserve the ancient monuments on the site, protect endangered species returning as RP is destroyed and enable the public to access popular national footpaths on a well maintained path.

We are a local charity Pre-School group, who run all day sessions five days a week. We cater for children aged two years to five years from the local area.

Promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church.Provision of public worship and administration of sacraments.Religious assemblies in schools, teaching the Christian faith to children and adults.Provision of children's worship and youth club.

Pre School Education for children aged 2yrs 9months until school age

The charity provides grants for the relief of persons under the care of chest physicians in the East Dorset Health Authority. Such grants are provided for the development and equipping of thoracic units in the area and for research and training of appropriate staff.

To advance the education of the public, including the promotion of study and research for the public benefit into the extinction of animals, flora and fauna;To promote the preservation and protection of the environment and of endangered species;Provision and maintenance of the Mass Extinction Monitoring Observatory.Contributing to social, environmental and economic regeneration of Portland

The Trustees have elected to concentrate (although not exclusively) on registered charities concerned with hearing or sight issues and prison welfare, reform and systems. When considering donations for UK based charities, the Trustees favour charities in the West Midlands and South West areas. To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Mudeford Wood, Christchurch, Dorset ( and the surrounding area) the provision of facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship, social or economic circumstances or, for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and, with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

We are a none profit making registered charity and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.We offer the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

The charity operate a preschool and offer wrap around care in the form of a breakfast and afterschool club for children aged up to 11 years. The charity is run by a committee of volunteer members, mainly parents of children attending the preschool. There is an appointed preschool manager responsible for the staff and daily running of the group.

All Saints' Church is a "Living Church" serving both the needs of the regular congregation and the wider community of the Parish of Mudeford and Somerford.

DDE IS ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION, PARTICULARLY BY THE PROMOTION OF GLOBAL EDUCATION IN DEVON

The objects of the Friends shall be to provide support and assistance to patients of the Blandford Community Hospital and preserve and protect the health of the community by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities, support services and equipment not normally provided by the NHS or statutory authorities.

Our activities all relate to teaching and living out the Christian faith. On Sundays and during the week there are times when we learn about our faith and worship God together. We are also actively involved in the surrounding community with a range of activities including youth and children's clubs, a parent and toddler group, and a dementia cafe. We always aim to demonstrate the love of Jesus

Operates at Portland Bill a bird observatory and field centre for the study of bird migration and other aspects of the natural history of the Isle of Portland; publishes and distributes useful results of this work; promotes and participates in the conservation of the natural environment of the Isle of Portland; preserves and maintains the historic building known as the Old Lower Light.

RELATE BOURNEMOUTH PROVIDES A RANGE OF SERVICES TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT RELATIONSHIPS. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE RELATIONSHIP COUNSELLING, FAMILY COUNSELLING, SEX THERAPY, SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE. EMOTIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES, LIFESKILLS TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT AND MEDIATION.

The Charity awards grants to individuals, schools, parishes and corporate bodies to further the following objectives: in the promotion of the education of persons involved with religious education; the provision of instruction and resources to schools and parishes; to assist persons financially so they can attend an establishment of further education to pursue their education.

We are a group of ordinary people living and working in North Dorset believing and trusting in an extraordinary God, who has changed our lives for the better and continues to be involved with each of us as individuals and as a community. The church is a community of people who relate to one another, through their common love of Jesus. It is not a building or an organisation.

To increase knowledge of and interest in film by offering a mixed programme of both commercial and non commercial film, including arthouse, foreign and classics, in the Purbeck area including local rural communities. To encourage development of skills in film making by running workshops for young people and by offering screening opportunities for young film makers.

TO PROVIDE A RESCUE, CARE AND REHABILITATION SERVICE FOR SICK, INJURED, OR ORPHANED HEDGEHOGS, TO FURTHER THE CONSERVATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE HEDGEHOG SPECIES, TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC TO FURTHER THE PUBLIC'S UNDERSTANDING OF HEDGEHOGS AND THE PROBLEMS THEY FACE, TO PROVIDE TRAINING IN HEDGEHOG CARE AND FOR GREEN SPACE MANAGERS AND GARDENERS ON HOW THEY CAN HELP HEDGEHOGS.
